Strike rate da Rolla!!!!
Quetta beats kk and Lahore or HHK wins another one both Quetta and kk are out then aren't they. It won't come down to NRR aslong as Quetta wins and HHK beats PINDIZ in the end

2 down in the first over

nafay shouldn't be no wre near the international team - barely ever performs, even kushdil scores more than him

K.Nafay again flopped..did he ever perform to deserve a spot in WC in place of Hasan Nawaz.. how can pakistan Selectors be so dumb to select him in WC. Why Saim Ayoub is getting unlimited backing and chances in National team and league team too. People criticised Usman khan selection but he performed really well in domestic and a potential match winner on hiw day. Pakistan need to sack selectors for those dumb selections

I woke up early to see how Rizwanullah bowls. Hopefully, his pace and fitness will improve. He mostly bowled in lower 140s & varied his length smartly from over 2 to 4.

He is quetta legend..... insane bat swing.....he is better than likes of zorzi, rickelton playing in SA lineup in t20s...
Wasted career imo. Could have been such a good player for South Africa in white-ball. At this point of his career he is closer to the end. I get the feeling that he wasn't so committed to working hard on his fitness etc and mpre interested in making money

It sounds like HHK would most likely go thru despite KK victory. HHK has advantage of knowing the NRR and playing against the worst team of the league.

David Warner, Karachi Kings Captain and Player of the Match: We set the tone by taking early wickets at the start of the powerplay but it just got away from us a little bit. Saud and Rilee two batted well and put on a good partnership. But to bring it back to 196, I felt, was a very chaseable total. It was about going out there, trying to execute, and building a good partnership. Look, I think you've just got to go out there and play the basics. I thought with the new ball on that wicket, one could have your name on it. We had a little bit of luck; a good start for Jason and me. But to play it out that way and win comprehensively was great, and now we have to wait with anticipation.

Warner, Hendricks power Kings to nine-wicket win over Gladiators

Lahore, 25 April 2026:

David Warner struck an unbeaten 89 off 48 balls and Reeza Hendricks smashed 87 not out off 48 as Karachi Kings romped to a nine-wicket win chasing 196 against Quetta Gladiators in the 37th match of the HBL Pakistan Super League 11 at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Saturday.

The match was part of the Golden Ribbon Day double-header, observed to raise awareness regarding childhood cancer in partnership with Indus Hospital, with players and officials wearing golden caps.

The win takes Karachi to 10 points in 10 matches, sitting fourth on the points table. However, with a net run rate of -0.87, Kings will need results elsewhere to go their way to secure a playoffs berth — if either Lahore Qalandars or Hyderabad Kingsmen win their remaining matches, they could leapfrog Karachi on net run rate. Quetta Gladiators bowed out of the HBL PSL 11 with six points from 10 matches.

Chasing 196, Jason Roy set the tone from the outset, striking four fours in his breezy 20 off 15 balls as Kings raced to 58-0 inside the powerplay. Jahandad Khan made the only breakthrough when Roy holed out to Alzarri Joseph at mid-on at 58-1 in the sixth over.

Warner and Hendricks then put on an unbroken 141-run stand that took the game away from Quetta.

Warner brought up his half-century off just 25 balls with a four off Usman Tariq and continued to dismantle the bowling, striking 10 fours and four sixes in his 89 not out. He hammered Abrar Ahmed for 18 runs in an over including three fours and a six before launching Jahandad for six over deep midwicket.

Hendricks matched Warner's aggression, bringing up his half-century off 34 balls with a four pounded over mid-off off Khalil Ahmed. He then took Alzarri Joseph for 24 runs in a single over hitting three sixes and a four. Hendricks finished unbeaten on 87 off 48 balls with eight fours and four sixes as Kings reached the target with nine balls to spare and nine wickets in the bag.

Earlier, Karachi struck twice in the opening over as Hasan Ali (4-0-41-2) removed both Quetta opening batters for ducks. Shamyl Hussain feathered a glance off the first ball behind to Azam Khan, before Khawaja Mohammad Nafay was squared up on a nagging off-stump line and spooned a leading edge to David Warner at mid-off, leaving Quetta two down for one.

Rilee Rossouw and captain Saud Shakeel counter-attacked with a commanding 148-run stand for the third wicket – the third-highest stand for Quetta in HBL PSL history. Saud was the early aggressor, lacing four fours off Hasan and Rizwanullah in the third and fourth overs before Rossouw found his range with back-to-back sixes off Moeen Ali over long-off and deep fine leg.

Rossouw survived a dropped chance at short third off Zahid Mehmood and brought up his half-century first, before Saud reached his off 30 balls with a lap sweep to deep fine leg.

Rossouw reached 10,000 T20 runs during his innings, raising his bat after launching Zahid Mehmood for six over long-on. He also struck Salman Ali Agha for three fours in the 12th over.

Rizwanullah broke the stand in the 15th over when Saud (57, 34b, 9x4s) edged behind to Azam Khan. Rossouw fell in the following over for 90 off 54 balls laced with eight fours and six sixes, caught behind off Mohammad Abbas Afridi as the scoreboard read 157 for four.

Hasan Nawaz managed three off five balls before slashing Rizwanullah (3.4-0-28-2) to Abbas at backward point as Quetta slipped to 161 for five after 16.2 overs.

Dinesh Chandimal launched a late assault of 30 not out off 17 balls, striking a six over long-off off Hasan and hitting three fours in the death overs as Quetta posted 195 for six in their 20 overs.

Abbas bagged two for 22 in 2.2 overs.

Rilee Rossouw post-match conference as KK defeat QG by 9 wickets despite his 90 off 54

Q: You played an excellent knock today, but the team couldn’t benefit from it. What happened?
A: I thought we batted well in the first innings and put up a good total. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. David Warner and Reeza Hendricks batted exceptionally well and handled our spinners really well. Credit to them, they played very well.

Q: When you were on 17, you raised your bat towards the dugout. What was the reason?

A: It was a personal milestone. Today was my 400th game, and I needed 68 runs to reach 10,000 career runs. I achieved that today, so I acknowledged the moment.

Q: Usman Tariq was not very effective today. Is his action becoming readable for batters like David Warner?
A: I understand what you mean, but Usman had an eye issue today. He had to see a doctor, and it affected his depth perception. Many players would have chosen not to play, but he still came out for Quetta Gladiators. He didn’t have a good day, but he is still one of the world’s best. One off day doesn’t change that. He will be back to his best soon.

Q: In Lahore day games, teams batting first seem to struggle to post par scores. Why is that?
A: The first innings is definitely more difficult. The pitch is hot and dry, and some moisture remains in the wicket during the first six overs, which makes batting harder. In the second innings, the pitch becomes flatter and easier for good cricket shots. The opposition batted exceptionally well and deserved their nine‑wicket win.

Q: As a senior player, how do you assess the seasons of Haseebullah and Hassan Nawaz? Did they have too much responsibility?
A: It’s similar to what I said about Usman. Sometimes players just have one of those seasons. Haseebullah didn’t score the runs he wanted, but he is a quality player and has proven himself in different leagues like the T10. Maybe the chopping and changing in the batting order affected his comfort. Hassan Nawaz has been excellent for us over the last two seasons, except for the last few matches. That’s cricket. Sometimes things go your way, sometimes they don’t. Both are very talented and will play many more years in the PSL.

Saud Shakeel was hyped to be a great domestic captain. He's had a dud psl as a captain
