PSL 11 once again gave us everything fans expect from the league big hits, last over thrillers, breakout performances, and unforgettable moments that kept the excitement alive till the very end. On the field the competition was intense and the quality of cricket continued to rise, proving why PSL remains one of the most entertaining T20 leagues around.

But while the cricket delivered the season wasn’t without its talking points off the field. Limited or restricted crowd attendance in certain matches took away a bit of the usual PSL atmosphere which fans always look forward to. There were also concerns raised about kit quality especially issues like color fading during the tournament. On top of that some viewers felt that certain kit put the color on the ball.

Another major discussion point was why matches were mostly held in only two cities. Many fans feel the PSL should be expanded to multiple cities across Pakistan so supporters from different regions can enjoy live action in their own stadiums and the league atmosphere can become even more vibrant nationwide.

These small but noticeable issues have started a bigger conversation about what PSL can improve moving forward whether it’s better crowd engagement, improved kit standards, expanding venues, or enhancing the overall matchday experience.

Now what changes do you think PSL should seriously consider for next season to make it even better?

The league can’t improve until you have players like Babar, Rizwan, Shadab and Saud as captain’s of franchises.

Bigger boundaries.

Buy a team and make yourself captain, we would love to see how you overcome these captains

Please don't hold the PSL without crowds again. Postpone the tournament but abscence of crowds kills any interest in the tournament. PCB also needs to take the tournament to other cities like Faisalabad, Peshawar, Sialkot, Sarghoda, Muzzafarabad.

I would also suggest extend the tournament by another two weeks. Trying to cramp everything in 6 weeks has resulted in player burnout, some teams playing 3-4 consecutive games and this has resulted in a deterioration in performances over the middle and end of the tournament.

None. If you cant bring improvements by the 11th psl, what makes you think 12th would be any different

Bro its not only the captaincy, its the wicket keeping aswell. All of them went with overseas keepers.

It surprises me thag somone like Mohammad Akhlaq had no buyers

How about not shoving ads in my face every freaking ball?

The product placement in this league is so shameless that at this point the cricket feels like a minor interruption between the constant product placement.

The organizers have sold every square inch of dignity they had left. Even the commentators seem like they are contractually bound to keep droning on about how great Tapal tea is and how wonderful J. perfumes are..

No offence, but PSL after launch in 2016 actually dec;ined rather than further improving, you had iconic moements, still quality players, also some good cricket, but it just keeps declining as pcb and pak cricket continues to decline,

Bring crowds

Spread league to different venues like proper home and away like don't want to see this cramming whole league in two venues

And change the window back to Feb so can get better player options

But will they do it I don't think so

Hopefully IU will involve the coaching staff in the auction as opposed to statisticians
Hoping there will be less nepotistic signings like Riaz Afridi, Moin Khan etc and franchises will hire better staff on merit. #wishfulthinking

PSL must always be arranged with crowd attendance... The broadcast should be better.

He is really not that good bro. Overseas keepers are dynamic and hit the ball long and hard

To be honest I am getting bored of these franchise leagues and would like to see them all cancelled

PSL need quality OS players , look at the impact Nahid Rana, Hardie had , they are current players not somebody over his shelf life.

Better management for the crowd.

Saw a couple of posts about a poor man, who earns 40k/month, was sent back home after humiliation despite holding a ticket.

Another video showed a serious feud between fans inside the stadium.

A good technician team, so online ticket buying portals don't go down frequently.

1. Have feb window

2. Better scheduling with home and away fixtures

3. Give directive to teams to market themselves better. You saw whole crowd with zalmi flags. People didnt buy it. Zalmi gave it to them and it creates an atmosphere.

4. A designated stand for families and girls.

5. Identify young captains and ask franchises to make them vc atleast to groom for future

6. Have exhibition matches before psl with retired players etc in different cities to generate hype and money ig

7. Have interactive commentary instead of same old boring one. Bring mic to players in real time.

8. Bring some innovation. Like bbl brought to powerplay surge. Ipl with impact rule. Something out of the box.

9. Pitches were good this season despite having only 2 grounds so kudos to that. Ensure pitches are as such atleast going forward.

10. Bring some bonus point rule if you chase the target before 10 overs or smth like that
Will create excitement and might kill nrr.

32 461 was the official no. by psl team. But i am sure the crowd was way more. There were people standing on seats. Behind the seats. Some people didn't get entry. And tbh if you only knew a tcs guy he could get you in without any difficulty.

Put automatice gates that open only after a scan hence there can be a better management.

Not a good look in a country which needs to put its best foot forward on the security front, after what has happened in the past.

Ofc police ll be checking you and wont let you take anything inside but tickets are checked at one point only and if you know the guy you can just roll in

Hopefully better oversees players will be picked. And no green card gang if they can't perform.
Apart from that, a direct signing should be valid for 2-3 seasons, after which that player has to go in the auction pool or be a direct signing for another team.
Coaches should be a part of auction process and should be announced before a squad has been picked.

There was a noticeable kiwi presence in this years psl. By having some quality australian and english coaches, they can probably convince some of the little known talented cricketers from their countries as well.
Last time PSL hired Peter Moores, we ended up bringing Lammonby, Jordan Thompson, James Fuller, Tom Abell, Ian Cockbain to PSL.
QG, Pindi LQ and maybe KK could benefit from better coaching staff like Stuart Law, Paul Farbrace, Chris Silverwood, Brad Hodge, Simon Katich etc.

Felt like mini BBL so many Australians. Need more players from England, south Africa, west indies, etc. Also put a cap on minnow team players cant allow 4 5 usa players to hog spots in HK team where some of those spots could have gone to locals pr other foreign players.

I want to see better broadcasting and crowd attendance. Cannot be making excuses like fuel saving bla bla... Stop making pathetic excuses

India won the World T20 more than 15 years after the IPL began. Furthermore, we haven't found the right team combination for T20 until 2024. There's always room for improvement.

India winning is to do with its cricket culture it has from its school cricket teams. After that 2011 world cup forced them to further focus on sports and improve facilities.

In India, someone like azam khan would never play a world cup.

India reduced corruption, got locked i, improved domestic structure, and yes they tried and failed a few times in ICC events such as 16 wc, 19 wc, 23 wc, and whatever other event I'm missing, but atleast they were consistent, focued on fitness, performance etc, Pakistan unless they take these things seriously, along with mental ability under pressure and professionalism, will remain a rock bottom team, these strategies might not always guarantee might not make you win every ICC tournament, but you'll at leats be a very competitive team, and constantly a threat and cinsistently aiming high in tournaments like Nz, Sa, and hey you might even bag a few icc trophies

PCB needs to introduce some new rules. Impact player type? Will it work?

The PSL will only decline if the national team performances don't improve. People need to understand that barring Babar, the likes of Shaheen, Shadab, Rizwan, Rauf, Nawaz, Naseem are viewed are absolute frauds. The fact that these failures are being put in leadership positions and are promoted as A grade players in the PSL only devalues it. People are not dumb.

The PSL Franchises also need to understand and respect national sentiment and actually start getting ruthless with their selections and decisions. They still have not moved on from their personal, emotional relationships with the players and give them a longer rope than they deserve.

Someone like Saud Shakeel would not be picked in any other league but here he is captaining a PSL Franchise only because Nadeem Omar likes him.

Vijay Malya in Kingfisher completely uprooted his IPL team management and captain during the middle of the IPL. This is the kind of ruthlessness that is needed in the PSL especially when a deeply badniyat selfish individual like Rizwan will not drop himself from the team.
