Many players are unavailable for various reasons. A few opt out due to Pakistan-India tensions, while injuries, and opting for IPL over PSL are other reasons for some players' unavailability. The list of unavailable players includes:

Is Tim joining back or not, his name is in both categories?
What about Colin Munro? His name is missing altogether.

It seems that Lahore Qalandars have lost all their major signings. It makes sense of players from Multan Sultan to not join back anyway as they had just one match and they cannot qualify.

Zalmi & Qalandars match now will decide which team will go through which is good.

You have to admire the mental agility of Indians. They have spent months saying that these PSL players are rejects, second rate, or unknown players and now are expressing delight when they sign for the IPL.
Basically the whole lot has changed 80% atleast, nonetheless PSL relies on home players unlike IPL who snatches players from PSL to make their season a success

Sikandar Raza departs for National Duty

Lahore, 19 May 2025: Lahore Qalandars' star all-rounder Sikandar Raza has departed to fulfill national team duties, joining Zimbabwe ahead of their historic Test match against England in Nottingham.

The upcoming match marks Zimbabwe’s first Test on English soil since 2003 and their first international appearance in any format in England since 2004.

Raza completed the group stage of the Pakistan Super League for Lahore Qalandars, featuring in 10 matches, scoring 232 runs at a strike rate of 162.23. With two half-centuries and key performances throughout the campaign, he played an integral role in guiding the Qalandars into the play-offs.

Before his departure, Sikandar Raza shared an emotional message: "Lahore Qalandars is very close to my heart, and it’s never easy to say goodbye. But national duty comes first and I have a responsibility towards Zimbabwe. I will be watching every ball from afar and cheering on my brothers in green. Qalandar for life."

Lahore Qalandars wish Sikandar Raza and the Zimbabwe national team the very best for the upcoming Test match in England.
