This is second last round in the super eight. Wapda have a good chance to qualify for the finals too. There are two groups in super eight, each team plays 3 games and one team qualifies from each group to the final. So, UBL vs Wapda is kind of a semi-final for these 2 top teams in this group. Wapda have good bowling attack but UBL also have all of their bases covered.
So many big and upcoming names in this Wapda vs UBL match. Younis Khan, Umar Akmal, Mohammad Asghar, Sohail Khan, Shaan Masood, Saad Ali and Hammad Azam on the UBL side where as Salman Butt, Asif, Wahab, Kamran Akmal and Waqas maqsood appear for Wapda.
I wish this match was being televised.

The final should be between two best teams which are UBL and SNGCP.

He cannot afford either because He has not got financial resources like Ahmed shehzad for instance.

This season has been terrible for him. National T20 Cup was golden Oppurtunity for him but he failed miserably. He had a miserable Qea trophy aswell.

If in future He does not get Asad Shafiq's vote he might than eveb lose out on domestic T20, List A & FC aswell.

Thank you for your kind words- coming from you it is very high praise.

Ahsan Ali has indeed had an atrocious season which is sad to see. I hope he does not fall through the cracks.

On a more positive note, you must be pleased to see Agha Salman's all-round performances in the NT20? So long as they don't try and make him primarily an offspinner he will progress nicely. Still has some way to go in the longer format, as does Talat.

Rizwan Hussain has also been doing very well (although conversion issues still exists). Do you have any more info about him? 4th highest run scorer this year, 4 50s and 1 century in 14 innings. Wouldn’t be surprised if a department picks him up for next season.

Agreed. It was the bowlers who failed to fire on the last Australia tour. If the likes of Mohammad Abbas ends up going to Australia then the tour is over even before it begins.

Ahmed Bashir is young, over 6 foot, has a repeatable action and is able to extract good bounce from pitches.

He bowls at a decent, if not express, pace but with the right coaching that will improve.

All in all, he has a high ceiling if he gets the chance to work with decent coaches etc.

Batted in the first innings of Round 1 of the Super Eight but was marked as "absent hurt" in the second innings, and now he has missed this match.

There doesn't seem to be much information about him but at the start of this round he was the 4th highest run scorer this year, with 4 50s and 1 century in 14 innings.
