Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators | Qualifier 1 | Karachi | March 13, 2019 | Match Thread

I´ve a feeling that Shane Watson might just decide the outcome of the match.....

Quetta to win. Karachi to lose. Peshawar to win vs Islamabad and then lift the trophy.

I want to see Mohammad Hasnain wrecking the top order of QG.

This is gonna be the toughest match, 2 best teams going at it.
Islamabad beats Karachi, I dont see Karachi winning high pressure matches

Alan wilkins has just said on commentary the boundries have gone back by 10metres. So yeah looks like they have!

Ahsan plays well on the front as well as on the backfoot. If he can work hard and improve his attitude he can take another step in the right direction

Watson is still good enough to play for Aus, I think he retired bit too early and also due to Mitchel Marsh!

So have the bigger boundaries made a big difference? The commentators were commenting that the number of twos have gone up

You can visibly SEE all 3 bowlers bowling at express speeds. All of them clearly above 90 MPH with Tymal Mills being like lightening on the pitch.

Good turn out for this match, and definitely feel more janoon and electricity in the air

Karachi needs a bigger stadium.

I guess once the full PSL moves to Pak and international cricket comes back which is gonna be soon, we will see stadiums of all the major venues being upgraded in years to come.

Impressed so far with ahsan Ali. Looks keen to rotate the strike and very alert when running between the wickets.

It is difficult to support the Zalmis when their top 5 includes Imam, Maqsood and Misbah. On the other hand I am getting bored by QG's dominance. Still I think it wouldn't be too bad if QG win the tournament especially since this time they werw able to keep their foreign players till the end.

It'll be good for people of Quetta and Baluchistan who are often neglected. I want QG to win this year.

Loser plays winner of IU vs KK

Oh I see. So loser gets to play the winner of that game and it’s a second chance of getting to the final right?

Also does the winner go directly into the final?

Sorry not been keeping up with the PSL had exams

Why does pollard always do these show off things when he bowls. He thinks of himself as some 150kph tearaway.

Yes, winner goes directly to the final.

Loser plays the winner of tomorrows game.

Yes winner goes directly to final, loser gets second chance. This is the benefit of coming top 2 during group stages.

If you are 3 and 4 in group stages you play each other first and the winner plays loser of 1 vs 2 for spot in final.

Oh I see. Thank you for clarifying. Hopefully QG qualify!

Pretty crappy captaincy to keep bowling the same bowlers despite the opposition going at 10 rpo.
