I really dont understand this thinking. This is a T20 league. You have paid millions on the league. Players like Gayle and Afridi have been paid millions. And you think it is good if they fail? If that was the plan then pay millions to technically sound batsmen. Why spend on Gayle? I dont understand your logic here

The league should not about individuals or stardom, it should focus on cricket quality and getting exposure for Pakistani players sharing the dressing room with high profile international cricketers. This is a nurturing ground for Pakistani domestic circuit and quite honestly, I would rather have decent cricket than having a blind slog fest and then living under a false pretense.

The millions paid to individuals (Pakistani ones I mean) are so that they get the same earning opportunity as their counterparts around the world and it has nothing to do with batting friendly cricket or pitches that just have nothing in for the bowlers.

The Pakistani fans are warming up to such events and I also find it interesting. If the target market likes it, I guess there is no reason to complain....

Yeh more for sharing the same last name but still he was regarded very highly in his early days. He was also a part of lahore Badshahs in ICL and he looked quite compact back then. I thought he was already past his prime that's why he had joined ICL coz all those players who took part in ICL were banned by their respective boards though the ban was later lifted. Looking at his age now it means he was only 21 or 22 when he joined ICL.
