Quetta you beauty - Congratulations for making it to the final

Last years best match was also the first playoff and it was also between Quetta and Peshawar and Quetta ended up winning the game out of nowehere. Same as today. This was an even more unexpected win

whoever calls sarfu DHONI or whoever is saying that sarfu will do to pak what dhoni did to india, needs to stop

India could not beat aus in aus, sa in sa in tests and odis. Could not beat eng in eng in tests.
Managed to win champions trophy, and i would give him that.
Apart from that, india only won at home.
We havent lost at home in tests, heck we beat tougher opponents at home when indians lost to them (eng 2012)

Irrespective of whether safaraz succeeds or does not succeed as a captain. Please do not bring dhoni into it.

Yeah,he would achieve much more then Dhoni and surely will be remembered as a legendary captain.

What is wrong with Pakistani fans?:facepalm: Sarfraz will never be half the batsman Dhoni is in LOIs. He is an excellent captain but Dhoni is an ATG captain who is difficult to mach.
 
We lost the plot when Sammy decided to send Haris ahead of him.

honestly, QG got lucky and sarfaraz played one spinner too many instead of a mir hamza. i guess the dew factor was not on the cards../??!!

Harris played a needless shot when he didn't need to. It's clear though - he needs more time in domestic.

Appalling cricket from both of these guys and PZ should have won this comfortably.

That's for sure.

But he didn't play a match-losing knock, and promoting him didn't really hurt PZ, especially when you consider the fact that Sammy himself didn't do much.

Haris has barely done anything in this PSL and making him bat in a crunch situation like this was not going to pay any dividends. Sammy should have been out there earlier, it would have given him a bit more time to settle. I do believe that in the 6 deliveries that the 5 deliveries that Haris wasted, Sammy would probably have found a boundary which would have helped us win the game.

It was a tactical blunder. Sending Hasan below the perennial hack Wahab was a blunder too, but I don't think it would have reached that stage had Sammy promoted himself ahead of Haris.

With 44 required from 29 balls, a power-hitter like Sammy should be assuming responsibility, and not hide behind an out of touch accumulator like Haris.

I agree with you on both fronts - Sammy should've come in ahead of Haris, and Hasan ahead of Wahab.

However, I just don't think Sammy coming up would've made a huge difference. He hasn't done much at all this PSL apart from that game against Karachi.

Last game in particular he flopped when he should've stayed in.

irrespective of whether he achieves or not. One shouldnt say things like that. Since dhoni's achievements are pretty average apart from home wins
