Don't know about Kapil Dev because I never saw him play.

1. Anderson - 9/10 (ATG pacer)
2. Kapil -8.5/10 (great record against top team of his era. Surprisingly poor record in Eng and NZ. Also did well away against Aus.)
3. Gillespie - 8.5/10 (Good record in all conditions for 6-7 yrs, somewhat unlucky as wicket taker and faded early)
4. Broad - 8/10 (Longevity and long list of match/series shaping spells mostly at home with couple of great spells in SA/India as well)
5.Ntini 7/10 (Great fitness and excellent bowler at home. Relatively poor and low impact away bowler through)
6. Mitchell Johnson 6.5/10 ( had 2 great years '08-'09 and '13-'14 where he was damn near ATG level at home and in SA. Loses points for being inconsistent, subcontinent failure and low impact in England)

7. Chaminda Vaas 6/10 (Did well given his limited talents. Another surprisingly poor record in England ala Wasim and Kapil. Played excellent support act for Murali against top teams, relentlessly bashed minnows with his inswing. All in all, fine pacer by subcontinent standards)

Gillespie has been seriously underrated here. He was a brilliant bowler and could have picked up lot more wickets if he did not play alongside two ATG's.

Gillespie had a short peak became regular in 2000 and was finished by 2005
