This is my view, the ones which I enjoy
1- IPL
2-PSL
3-BBL
4-BPL
5-CPL

What's yours?:amir3

This wont work as it would be biased due to pakistanis ranking own league higher.

T20 leagues in the order that I'd proritise watching them if they were all on at once :

T20 Blast
BBL
IPL
CPL
PSL
Ram Slam
BPL

Meanwhile I have no idea what SL and Zimbabwe have going on.

Obviously that's personal to me however.

I've only seen highlights packages of IPL and BBL, while never had the opportunity to watch BPL, CPL or RAM SLAM. Have seen a couple of videos of Pakistani cricketers in Natwest T20. Based on that my rankings will be very biased.

However, the general consensus is that BPL and CPL aren't upto standard. Ram Slam has too few international cricketers and never even heard of any news coming out of that tournament.

The top two are IPL and BBL while the next two are definitely PSL and Natwest.

Big Bash
Indian Premier League
Caribbean Premier League
Pakistan Super League

The definitive list:

IPL
Big Bash (may actually catch up to ipl soon which is amazing considering not many foreign attractions)
PSL
CPL
Natwest
Ram Slam
BPL

Used to watch ipl and bbl regularly.

PSL is right up there with quality of cricket with any other other league out there and KP himself has praised the PSL a lot.

Watch mostly PSL now and some bpl (when Pak players are playing).

I only watch the PSL. Its good quality cricket, especially given the limited number of teams. I also liked that it wasn't a blind slogfest like other t20 games. And being a Pakistani, im obviously invested in the players and enjoyed watching all the teams.
I occasionally check the scorecards of the CPL to see how the pakistani players are doing.
I tried watching the BPL but the quality of cricket in my opinion was pretty low. Some of the fielding was truly horrendous!!
Don't have any interest in the IPL.
Between everything else, can't make time for other domestic level cricket so never even tried watching the Big bash; just saw a few short highlights videos.

BBL is overrated just because it is Australian. Yes, it is competitive, but the teams are made up of local players and fringe international players.

I didn't know Ian Bell, Tim Bresnan, David Wiley, Colin Munro, Jason Roy, Sam Billings, McCullum, Badree, Pietersen, Wright, Andre Russel, Carlos Braithwaite, Darren Bravo etc. were "fringe" international players.

It's rated highly due to its competitiveness and the fact that the tournaments objective is to lay a platform for local players.

All answers are/would be biased.

But two thing is sure...

1. IPL is the BEST and
2. SURELY PSL is NOT SECOND best.

IPL holds the distinction of being the best followed by BBL. Then it CPL. Some Pakistani posters may believe otherwise but the quality of international players playing in the CPL is much better than the ones playing in PSL. You see bigger scores and decent crowds. However, PSL has just had one tournament and I expect to improve.

How many of them would make in into an intl T20 squad, for say a WT20?
70~90% of the intl players look like has beens to me.

IPL works the best for me timing wise especially the matches starting at 8 PM. Finish day's work, have dinner and enjoy some cricket. That there are matches everyday helps with the

Despite being a T20 fan, for some reason not yet warmed up to other leaguess (timing, no Indian players etc). PSL was great last year, hopefully better pitches this year compared to the first edition.

You're right. Really difficult to choose between CPL and PSL though as some bias come into play.

CPL has better players.

Nobody says psl is 2nd best. Obviously it's a biased opinion anyone claiming to be so.

According to quality of cricket involved:
1. IPL
2. BBL
Rest are just 'Yet another Cricket league'

Regardless of which ones are better, Pakistan needs this the most considerign that they have been deprived of cricket at home for mayn years now. They need something for the fans to look forward to and a possible final in Lahore is potentially very exciting

only T20 league i consistently watch is PSL because it give me an opportunity to see some domestic talent from Pakistan.

Too many comparison threads. PSL isn't up there yet - let's accept it. Though it's close to CPL.

CPL has better, well known stars.

CPL has better, well known stars.

Only well known RSA players, because they are free at that time, plus PSL gave more money if they play

IPL is the only league which is par with football leagues so thats makes it a tier above everything

I don't care about the quality of the cricket played there but the kind of entertainment it brings out is immense

BBL comes second, loved those crowd out their

I don't follow so no comments....In IPL n BBL most of the top cricketers in the world are playing especially in IPL so that makes it intriguing and more entertaining

But if we keep aside those top players and big names across the world i don't think anyone would pay to watch some domestic players compete each other

I'd say the BBL is actually behind a few other leagues in terms of it's overseas players, it's the quality of local players and the show they put on (commentary team etc.) that makes it so good.

in this years psl

even if the target is too small, the opponent team will first fall into the bermuda triangle and then either rescue themselves or at least loose by a small margin.

True also the crowd too matters....Watching a game on fully packed houses with energetic crowd is a dff feeling whatever the game be

I think the BBL team is working too much for the betterment of the league and i would say they are succeedingin in it so far

PSL has become the most competitive T20 league of the world

I'm not gonna lie here but I've not watched IPL for a few years now. The last t20 league I watched was the BBL.

Hence the

1. BBL
2. IPL

I don't get why people rank BBL so high. You hardly have international players in the league and most matches are just mindless slog fests. I don't see alot of difference between BBL and the other leagues.

Because it's Australian. :mc

No BBL is more like PSL having same foreign players playing for same teams
While CPL has same foreign players as IPL

sadly i only watch pakistan cricket and pakistani cricketers. so whichever league they are part of, i do watch it. for me it is

psl
cpl

that is about it. do not even check the score cards for any other leagues etc. anymore. only international scorecards.

the pitches in cpl are terrible at times, and mostly the camera work is not top class at times but boy those boisterous crowd are amazing to watch. best crowd bar none. no one can even come close to that. cpl indeed is crickets biggest party and it shows. a cpl with more pakistani players would be a dream come true in a way tbh.

I am surprised that there are Pakistani fans of IPL, the league which discriminates against players of Pakistan. Those fans are pretty shallow

BBL is overrated just because it is Australian. Yes, it is competitive, but the teams are made up of local players and fringe international players.

The thing is nobody here cares.

Some of us can support a team and not a player

BBL is too artificial and mechanical for me but I can understand why people would love it

The thing that BBL has going for it is that the teams have pre-established rivalries which makes some matches very interesting as alot of pride is at stake. For the PSL only Karachi vs Lahore is true rivalry.

Yeah state rivalry is a massive thing in Aus.

I want to see Quetta vs Peshawar rivalry in PSL. It will be like the battle of Western Pakistan. We already saw fighting between Shehzad and Riaz, but Zalmi need more Pathans in their team imo.
