It would be interesting to see how Pakpassion rates the bowlers performances from yesterday.

My top 3.

Yadav
Jadeja
Amir

Followed by Pandya
Bhuvnesh
Shadab = Bumrah
Hasan
Imad
Wahab

A lot of people will put Amir on top but a bowler who can't take wickets cannot be seriously considered as a better bowler on that day.

I don't care how many edges he beat or how well he bowled.

If there are 0 wickets at the end he has not been good enough.

Cricket is not about unlucky bowlers.

Its about getting the job done.

I will put a Wicket taking Pandya over Amir. Must prioritize taking wickets over being economical.

Amir would have taken wicket if pressure had been created from the other end.. his good length his yorkers and short pitch balls were pretty good.
What can you do when intelligent batsmen on the other end knows that play out amir carefully and beat hell out of other clueless bowlers.

Yadav
Jadeja
Pandya
Bhuvi
Amir

Amir is just about not top flight anymore. He just goes gun barrel straight and prays for a mistake from the batsman to take wickets. Any day a 6 RPO wicket taker is better than 4-5 RPO container. Amir is now a glorified Scott Styris, a container who gets occasional wickets if the batsman is in a hurry.

Would have, Should have, Could have.

Same Amir Poor Amir.

Amir always gets the new ball and takes zero wickets. Pathetic TBH.

Yadav
Jaddu
Pandya
Bhuvi

Then Amir
Bumrah
Hassan
Imad
Wahab

It amazes me beyond belief the amount of sympathy and benefit of doubt a cheat like Amir gets on this forum. Every single match it is one factor or the other which stops Amir from taking wickets.

It is always about something else but not Amir who is a mediocre bowler with occasional flashes of brilliance which will be hyped to moon and back.

Lol, always 100 excuses are ready to defend him.
But " Amir beat the bat so many times " , " Dropped Catches hurt his average and confidence " and "but Commentators praised him "

If nothing else then " Did you even watch the match because if you did you would know that Amir was the best bowler of the match "

Indian Bowlers: 2.5/10 (should've bowl out them under 100)
Pakistani Bowlers: 8/10 (easily can score 350 against them but they bowled well to restrict them under 320) :ua

Bhuvi did not get overs at death or he easily could have picked 3-4 wickets like Yadav or Pandya

Imad was creating pressure from the other end as he was not going for any runs at all. India were crawling at 3 per over. Imad was not getting hell beaten out of him at all during first 10 overs

Nice fictional story to defend Amir though

Would have, Should have, Could have.

Same Amir Poor Amir.

if amir is poor then who is good in pak team?? pak should retire from international cricket then. if you watched the match live then you should know how carefully kohli and co. were playing him.

Amir
Jadeja
Hasan
Shadab

I kinda agree with this list. Considering the conditions, these three of our bowlers bowled very well. The difference is that our bowlers were bowling to the likes of Virat Kohli and the Indian were bowling to Hafeez and co.

Jadeja bowled extremely well and umesh was good too.Amir bowled decently but nothing exceptional though he was best from Pak's team.
Well we will see south Africa smashing Indian bowlers if the pitch is going to be flat.

Umesh, Bhuvi, and Jadeja were all outstanding. Bumrah was decent too.

For us, Hasan and Amir were good, but lack of fitness and poor support from Wahab and Imad as well as awful captaincy let the team down.

1. Umesh and Jadeja were the pick of the bowlers.
2. Amir looked threatening but again failed to get any wickets.
3. Bhuvneshwar, Shadab and Pandya were good.
4. Bumrah was decent.
5. Hasan bowled pretty well until he was taken apart at the end.
6. Imad was ok, never looked threatening and only had economical figures because for some inexplicable reason the Indian batsman decided to let him be until the last over.
.
.
.
.
And then there was Wahab, the less said the better.

1. Jadeja
2. Yadav
3. Shadab
4. Amir

How did Shadab or Amir bowl better than Bhuvi?

The only wicket Shadab got was off a rank full toss with Dhawan accelerating.

This seemed to have slipped out of his hand, Dhawan races down the track, takes a full-toss and mows it straight to Azhar Ali in the deep 136/1

Bhuvi bowled 5-1-23-1 and got the first breakthrough for his team.

Shadab was very unimpressive. Typical that Warne was acting like he is the next big thing. He gets a boner every time he sees a young leg spinner. He bowled one bad ball every over and only wicket was a lucky one off a horrible full toss. Not a good prospect.

Everybody is entitled to his her own opinion and observation.

Yuvraj Singh was dropped of The bowling of Shadab when he was on 9. He scored 44 of next 24 balls. Otherwise it could have been 2-45.

Bhuvi bowled against Nunber 8 ranked Odi batting team with 2 openers having SR of 72 & 75 in 2017.

While do I need to tell you India's Ranking ? Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli, Yuvraj averages & Strike rates or you are ok without it ?

Amir is a good bowler.

You could tell he was the only one IND showed any respect. They played him out and then smashed the others silly.

Hasan Ali was good until that final spell.

the wicket had nothing in it for spinners Shadab bowled all right for a first pressure game he never got a chance to bowl to unsettled batsmen he will get better from here.

Very difficult to rate , as there is difference between bowling to Indian batting order and Pakistan batting order . I will rate Bhuvi as best as he was bowling tight line with good speed and was trying to pitch little bit up.

The Indian bowlers are looking better since they are playing like a Team. Whether anyone gets a 5 wicket haul is not that important.

It's a Team Game. The real test would be when the Indian bowlers bowl to South Africa, Australia and England.

This. He is easily our best bowler and gets the oppositions respect. That should tell u all u need to know

I think shadab was good yesterday.
Ideally he should be coming onto bowl when the score is 80-2 after 17 overs, or something like that.
I liked what I saw yesterday.
In general people need to stop expecting results and look at improving the process. In time the results will come. We r far behind India but we need to play youngsters and give them time. No point in chopping and changing the coach and players every 5 minutes

I didn't watch past the first rain-break but Amir was excellent in his first spell. Only half-wits would blame him for not taking wickets when he drew an edge and got Rohit to top-edge another one within his first couple of overs but the fielder wasn't there and his bowling partner was a harmless left-arm spinner. Amir has been very good and the last player who should be getting criticized.

Amir
Bhuv
Shadab

Indien bowlers didn't bowled enough to be placed higher.

Tbh, Imad did keep things tight. I would expect more from Amir, given the way he is spoken off as one of the best fast bowlers around. At least some swing to trouble the batsmen would have helped. Bhuvi was able to get some swing and Shehzad out.

Shahzad missed a straight one.

TBF no one has swung it at Edgbaston in CT 2017.

Starc, Boult, Southee, Cummins, and Amir couldn't manage.

Nah, Bhuvi did get some swing. Not considerable amounts as he usually does, but there was a bit of swing on display from him.

Meh, that was pathetic from Amir to have your fine leg in and bowl a short ball to Rohit

Where are the wickets? Not many wickets not good enough.

Indian pacers were ordinary and would've been taken apart by any decent lineup. Jadeja was the only standout from their side. He bowled one hell of a spell.
