Imran Nazir vs. Abdul Razzaq. The Rematch.

Imran made Razzaq look like the trundler he was during his infamous hundred in the ICL. Razzaq has regained some of his bowling nip, and hit his own hundred in an earlier match. Should be amazing, but I will miss it.

Isn't it also Malik vs Razzaq ?

Shoaib had opposed selection of Yousuf, Razzaq: report

Senior batsman Mohammad Yousuf and all- rounder Abdul Razzaq were omitted from Pakistan's squad for next month's Twenty20 World Cup as skipper Shoaib Malik did not want them in the team, according to a media report.

'The Dawn' claimed that Shoaib voiced his opposition to their inclusion when the national selection committee, headed by Salahuddin Ahmed, asked him to give his input on the team selection.

Quoting sources, the newspaper said Shoaib didn't feel comfortable with the idea of having a senior player like Yousuf in the squad considering his lack of athleticism in the field coupled with a weak throwing arm.

Shoaib had told the selectors that Razzaq was not worth a place for the Twenty20 format since his medium-pace bowling had lost the nip to unsettle batsmen.

''The ball barely reaches the wicket-keeper at a decent pace when Razzaq bowls these days,'' the captain, according to paper, had told the selectors.

Did he actually say that? :)))

It was certainly true.

I hope Razzaq is gonna clean bowled Malik tomorrow! I would like to see the face of Malik and also of Razzaq.

I'm a huge Imran Nazir and Abdul Razzaq fan. I don't know which team should I support?

By the way who is supporting who for tomorrow's final?

I'm supporting the chai-wala...that dude make class A tea!

I'm supporting Sialkot for the win, I want them to hold on to their undefeated record

Without a doubt there the team to beat, but this match can go either way IMO.

i am supporting Lahore Lions but Sialkot Stallions deserve to win based on their track record and all round team and having lost out on Champions League

I would love imran nazir to smash it and come back into Pakistan team alongside Shahzaib Hasan post world cup

Lions All The Way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to see Imran Nazir smashing the hell out of the bowlers tomorrow.. But i would also want A.Razzaq taking some wickets and destroying the opposition with his batting... I dont realy care about who wins tomorrow as long as the main guys perform... And it would be nice to see the scoreboard saying:
Shoaib Malik b. A.Razzaq 0(1)

Shoaib Malik is going to be smashed and stuffed into a spinach pie tomorrow so PopEye can eat him with a bit of tobasco and raita.

BOO YAAA... BRING IT OUN!

Why the hate against Malik?

He (as usual) has been consistent scorer throughout tourny...and he'll score big tomorrow...again.

No hatin on Malik.

I in fact feel sorry for the horrible fate he is headed for tomorrow. He is going to be ripped to shreds and have his lunch handed to him by the one true beast that is Razzler.

GO LIONS!!!!

If maliks made such comments then he truely is a plank!

I'm gonna support Stallions for Malik and Nazir.

in Lahore, my favs are Razzaq, Jamshed, Butt n Akmals..

Stallions all the way!

Although, this is a win win situation for me. These two are the teams i have supported from the start.

Why are you all attacking Malik now? I wasn't fan of his captaincy either, but give the guy a break now. He has been scoring consistently, and if you are truly a Pakistan fan, you wouldn't want players to go into slump. Also, in the last T-20, he got us into the finals with really close victory, so that means his decisions weren't that bad. Criticism is best when it is necessary, no need to criticize when it's not necessary.

Stallions are favourites, on paper Lions have a powerful batting line up but need to to come to the party in the final!

People felt the same sorry about the Shoaib Malik in the last edition of T20 domestic final match, but in return, they have got their apologies back. LOL

I believe Sialkot Stallions will win the tournament. Nothing can stop from Malik team winning the tournament.

My goodness these Sialkot Stallions are a dynasty. They just win and win and then win some more.

Malik and his cronies are going to be hunted down no matter which cave they are hiding in and Razzler and his group of tough marines are going to smoke them out of their holes.

I'm supporting Sialkot because I want Malik to do well. also want the young guns like Jmashed, Shehzad, and Umar Akmal to do well in the final for Lahore.

PCB relented today the shambolic corrupt fools that they are so lets see if they flip flop again.

SIALKOT STALLIONS ALL THE WAY cmon boys we are undefeated we can keep going!!! i really want malik to do well in this game too and the rest of the team im so excitedddddd!!!

I'm going to support Sialkot because even though they might not have as many international players as other teams, they always seem to perform well as a unit and that's good to see :malik

Supporting SS only for the men :iamlegend who should be entertaining us not only in domestic but at the highest level.

I have always supported Sialkot after what I felt they were cheated and denied a place in
the final of the first T20 tournament.
After that they won all the other tournaments at times with teams with only 1 star player

If that's the case then it can go either way. In domestic cricket, Malik is a giant of a captain. He defeated Karachi in last years final with a significantly weaker team. This time around his team has some more fire power, but it remains to be seen who'll be playing.

Sialkot Stallions, just because of the dynamite that is Imran Nazir ! Hope he gives a memorable performance and rips into the Lions bowling line-up

This could be a contest between Nav's. I.e M Naveed and Naveed Arif.

Judging from Pak fans responses they expect Nav's to be their new W's.
Hope they don't turn out of be A's (Ata-ur-rehman and Aamir)

RBS Twenty20 Cup

National players to take part in Twenty20 final

A late decision by the PCB to allow national team players to take part in the semi-finals of the ongoing RBS Twenty20 cup may have cost Islamabad Leopards a place in the final of the tournament.

Pakistan's team management had taken a decision after the Bhurban training camp that players involved in the ICC World Twenty20 would not take part in the entire domestic tournament, limiting their involvement to two or three group games.

That meant players such as Rao Iftikhar Anjum, Islamabad's captain, and Salman Butt, Ahmed Shehzad and Kamran Akmal for the Lahore Lions, and Shoaib Malik, Sialkot's captain, would not be eligible for the semis.

But a late overturning of the agreement on the day of the semi-finals - at the apparent insistence of Lahore and Sialkot - meant the players were allowed to play; all of them returned except Rao, who had already left by then for Khanewal, his hometown.

That deprived an unfancied Islamabad of their captain and leading pace bowler and though stand-in skipper Raheel Majeed led well, Islamabad were edged out by three wickets in a low-scoring thriller.

"The decision [to overturn the limit] was made late yesterday, after some pressure was put on by Sialkot and Lahore," a board official confirmed to Cricinfo.

Islamabad were also deprived of the services of another fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar, at the start of the tournament. Though he was pulled out of Pakistan's World Cup squad, he was set to take part in the local tournament. However, on the day the tournament started, the board told Islamabad that as Shoaib had been advised rest by a medical committee, as per his central contract, he would not be allowed to play.

Well If Sialkot bats first and Imran Nazir gets a flying start then Sialkot must be the favourites. For me it's same who the winner is (though Sialkot is nearer to my village than Lahore is in Pakistan), just want to see a good contest.

And to those of you who wanted that the all good players shouln't have been playing for lahore lions, dolphins and sialkot stallions: Well if Pakistan were allowed to play in CL then they better have a good team to match the IPL teams and teams from Aus, eng and SA. Right now I think both Sialkot and Lahore lions have very good teams and they could have done very well in Champions league.

I don't care who wins but I want Chussar Kuptaan to lose.

I agree with Malik (assuming he really did say this). I'm glad somebody noticed it.

I am expecting a tough match tonite.. I dont know who to support as my Dolphins are out :(
I think I'll support Stallions coz I would love to see them extend their undefeated record.

Resting?... But why would one rest for the final? :malik

Not too sure but they are leaving for England tomorrow. I can't think of any other reason why they would rest him.

and here we go ladies and gents, Lions to bat first!

how retarded...a final and they let the top players rest...really stupid thinking
