So very randomly, this thought crossed my mind as I was about to fall asleep. I was pretty sure of it from my memory itself but still thought I´d confirm it from the stats.
So as it stands, Pakistan are the only top team which the West Indies have managed to beat from recent four World Cup editions (2007, 11, 15 and now 19). Please take at the screenshot below......

This was the first World Cup where Bangladesh went in with a classification other than a "minnow" - slightly higher than that at least - and the West Indies managed to get beaten by them easily!
However, more than the West Indies, it goes to tell you where exactly Pakistan have goofed up their World Cup 2019 campaign. In 2015 it didn´t turn out to be as costly given the format of the tournament, but bear in mind the loss in the 2007 edition. We all remember that Ireland knocked Pakistan out of the tournament back then, but it would never have come to that either had they beaten the West Indies in which was the opening match of the tournament I think.
In between this, Pakistan did very comprehensively beat them in a quarter-final in 2011 of course, but a better record is expected against a team which hasn´t been able to beat a top team in a World Cup match since 2007 - with the exclusion of Pakistan of course!
