dont know him if he is really like that then he should not be welcomed or at least not given a role.
 
THis is where an honest politician loses credibility imo.. In this case IK.. Even though it’s his fault but it’s the public’s fault as well who give vote/support to people like him so IK needs such people..
 
Not justifying anything here but if there is some solid evidence against this Saleem Shehzad for the crimes stated in the OP then PTI are no different than others.

The problem with Pakistani politics is that everyone is corrupt, or has been in previous governments/political parties and for their gains move around to different ones.

New people are hard to recruit as most people who have a brain know what a dirty game politics is so they stay away unless they really are looking for something to gain out of it which is pretty much money either way.

The same can be said for people like Shah Mehmood Qureshi who holds a big post in PTI and has been with PPP and their government when they were in power for years.
 
Definitely disappointing if such people join PTI especially if they had been involved in murders, bhatta khori etc. I wasn't even in favour of Dr Aamir Liaqat but this guy is far worse, not sure what will PTI gain from such joining anyway?
 
Move clearly shows the cluelessness of the PTI's Karachi strategy.

Gets them bad rep but doesn't give them any electoral gain or goodwill.

Saleem Shehzad is a nobody without the MQM tag and has been irrelevant for ages.

If you are going to bring in dodgy people they should atleast have tangible gains like the electables from Punjab

Naya Pakistan is not about replacing bad people with good people, but about transforming bad people into good people. So we should all wait to see his transformation before passing judgement.
 
Until and Unless u are a patwari.no one will support a man like him in pti i mean workers ,if the above mentioned thigs are true.

Exactly, he is nothing without MQM so what do you gain by including such criminals? There are plenty of people like Ali Zaidi, Arif Alvi, Asad Umar, Imran Ismail who would know everything this guy has been upto.

I agree that someone like him should not be part of the PTI but i would like to hear your views on Rana Sanullah-the Model Town Qatil and his close association with the Sharifs especially Showbiz. Do you think that he should be part of the party that you support.

Yeah he is a very bad choice by PTI, plus he is not someone who has any overwhelming support or public following... idk why IK is allowing him.
 
I know this guy from chicago that claims to be his grandson, pretty chill dude. I don't know anything else about pakistani politics.
 
He is not as bad as some of you guys are making him to be. At that time MQM was propagating that some of its frontline leader are very tough and Saleem Shehzad was one of them. Remember hearing this folklore that one time Saleem Shehzad went to police station to enquire about some MQM members and the SHO hide so that he does not face Saleem Shehzad presuming Saleem Shehzad may be in bad mode. So this kind of stuff. But he is not one of those target killers of MQM. Those guys were really bad.

I am ok with Imran Khan accepting Saleem Shehzad. Imran Khan has included some even way worst people like Aleem Khan, Nazar Gondal, Khar, Firdous Ashiq Awan etc. in his party so Saleem Shehzad is a pan cake.

I would vote for PTI to punish Nawaz Sharif for lying and standing firm on his lying even when his lies have been exposed. This shows to me that Nawaz Sharif thinks very low of Pakistanis and thinks of them as stupid. He has no sharam.

Good decision... What sets PTI apart from other parties is that the party is not filled with darbaris of the king and all of the top echelon have a say. I hope they prevent IK from accepting Shehzad.

Damned if you do....Damned if you don't for Imran Khan in Karachi... You can see how brave this guy is that he risked his life to campaign in Karachi before army clean-up... When PML-N, ANP, JUI etc didn't dare... And he got threats by thugs of MQM for that... But what's the point, people will still find excuses to not vote for PTI and instead vote for their ethnic parties... Only few insafians and too many arm chair fans who second guess every move of Kaptaan under false sympathies...
 
Hopefully the rumors of a few sane heads in PTI overruling Kaptaan are true. However, he is a dictator so we have to wait and see.

Maybe others could've done with having a sane head and not jumped the gun, but then that would be expecting too much when there's an opportunity for sensationalism and propoganda.
