After a long time of waiting and trying my luck in getting these gloves I was finally able to get my hands on them. I was told that these gloves are limited in quantity and most of the time they are out of stock, I'm not sure how true is that but who cares?!

My first impression when I first wore these Salix gloves was obviously very good! These gloves were as soft they can get and the comfort level of these gloves is simply remarkable! One of the best thing I liked in these gloves was the palm and fitting. Despite being UK Mens size I have in past worn gloves which had very loose fitting while these are definitely not like that, these have a much better fitting where it is not too tight (eg like some Asian gloves) or too loose! The palm is very soft and it feels amazing when you have your hands in, however, what I'm still confused about is that the palm seem to be on thin side in terms of thickness, it doesn't seem to be as thick as other palms like on Puma Kinetic 5000 and GM Original LE.

If someone is considering to buy them then to be honest you are wasting your time buy not buying it so far!!

I don't know what else to write but whatever I have said above basically tells half story. Let me know if anyone has any sort of question.

PS: Nitin apologises for taking ages to post this :(

Should be getting one pair, shall place the order. They look absolutely lovely.

Like the look of them, the detail in epic, wonder how long it would take to make a pair.

May I ask where you sourced these? Can't seem to find in left hand. Been looking at these along with the Pod One now as they are available in left hand

I have a friend in UK who got these for me and shipped them to me.

Did you look at Talent Cricket? They had in left hand the last time I saw there website...

Hey thanks for that I did check the site but the only had the pod ones in LH. Found another site but had no luck. I've stopped looking and Bought another 2 bats instead. Been getting heaps of work so I got myself a slazenger V12 Ultimate and a laver and wood private bin which I should recieve in 5 weeks time. But thats enough of me buying cricket gear now I need to stop!

No worries!

Ah okay, actually Salix Pod Ones are as good as these if not better for sure.

Your Kookaburra gloves look nice, I would appreciate if you can post picture(s) of them.

Laver & Wood is real deal, not sure if its your first Laver but I am 100% you will be totally happy with it,

We all say we need to stop but we don't (saying this to myself :pissed: )

Hey, I can post the kooka ccx 900 gloves no worries. Give me a a few day however I'm working 12hr nights at the moment so I dont get a whole lot of time to do much during the day except sleep.

Posted the pics up for ya!
Yeah its my first laver got a decent deal from them too. Getting a 2lbs9 private bin which will take em 4-5weeks looking forward to it. Never had a hand made bat before.

Saw and replied, thanks!

4-5 weeks is long time but it is worth the wait, seriously James make impressive bats!

Yeah I can't wait. I realise the 2.9lbs is going to be a real 2.9lbs in weight and the bats I have been using are a few ounces less but im hoping the pickup will negate this so it wont feel too heavy for me.

If you opted out for higher middle which I am sure you did because of Australian pitches as they have high bounce then certainly it will feel lighter because they pickup very well and have wonderful balance.

I'm sure you will like it and you won't feel heavy.

Best part on Lavers for me are there handles, brilliant handles they have to be honest.
