Many people can look older than their age.

My younger brother looks older than me, So solely based on how a person looks like isn't a valid assumption to make a guess on age.

Most players who are from backward areas/background are more likely to have a wrong age which is a better assumption in such a case.

Ehsan Adil played the U19 world cup. I think the ICC conduct wrist bone tests for U19 WC to verify the age of players.
