Congrats Malik sahib. He's been very consistent in this format

A T20 legend who has been one of the best batting allrounders since he made his debut, unique in his own way when he's constructing or chasing a total. Probably the only batsman who can get let off with having a SR below 100 when he first comes in to bat but he makes up for it with sublime sixes every once in a while and can rocket his way to high totals. Excellent fitness for fielding and running between the wickets in addition to being a handy spin bowling option. A mainstream and popular player of his calibre deserves an ODI world cup in my opinion, he should give it his all next year.

First Pakistani batsman to do so as well. Also his next game will be his 100th t20i match as well which will make him the first player internationally to reach that mark

Congrats S. Malik. I think Kohli needs less than 10 runs to reach 2000 in T20s, he played 55-56 innings or so

Malik scoring makes me happy, but also a bit sad. This guy had the ability to be one of our greatest LOI batsmen. But after losing captaincy, took him so long to get his head back together when he should have been performing at his peak.

He's worked on his game, and will perform on flatter pitches in T20 and in ODIs on flatter pitches. Doesn't have the reflexes to perform against pace anymore up the order/in ODIs however.

I'd keep him even in ODIs, he knows how to construct and pace an innings which a lot of our guys don't. I hope he'll perform in Australia, hopefully being down the order helps him, I wouldn't bat him any higher than 6.
