True. I'm somewhat glad we're being given reality checks before CT.

But.. it's also foolish to think Inzi will change anything or his approach to selection.

We'll keep seeing these tuk tuk single double bats in LOIs. No matter how many matches we lose. In fact, it has an opposite effect.

He'll inject more TTF seniors.

Top order yes, for sure, but the only old face in the middle order is Malik and he's been doing a decent job though I am all for replacing him if there is a good alternative.

Friend. Here is me saying that right now there is no alternative. Replace them all.
As for Malik, he is your guy if you:
- iare chasing a low total
- playing an ill disciplined fielding team like the windies
- are not playing against australia, South Africa, England, New Zealand
These guys don't know how to win. They are timid. And they are going to infect the next generation of Pakistan's players with the same complacency of mediocrity

As for Malik, he is your guy if you:
- iare chasing a low total
- playing an ill disciplined fielding team like the windies
- are not playing against australia, South Africa, England, New Zealand

Your points are all valid.

I am all for trying someone like Saad Ali in the middle order but really the importance of the middle order is over-rated and you know that too.

Whole heartedly agree the top order is the issue, but today's heroics notwithstanding Shehzad, Hafeez, Babar, Malik, sarfaraz bat at the same rate. So if you can replace Babar (he is good), and sarfaraz has to play and Malik has to plaY then you can only take out Hafeez and Shehzad. That still leaves 3 similar players in top order and late middle order

I have stated before that ideally out of that lot, only Babar and Sarfraz should stay on. What I'm saying is that the top order is a priority at the moment, and we're in agreement on that.

The way momentum was killed today by Shehzad and Hafeez was criminal.
