Should it be illegal to make non-injury squad changes mid-series and play B teams for no reason?

Found out Australia is playing their B or C team in this 3rd ODI,

Very dissapointing to see this really. If Pakistan wins many will say its not proper.

If Australia was 2 - 0 up I would understand, but they didn't, they got whooped like how school kids used to back in the Queen Victorian era

Ever since COVID, out of all the teams affected by this stupid A vs B team matches, its been Pakistan by a far distance who have been affected by it having played so many B / C teams, making these matches unenjoyable honestly.

But what doesn't make sense is making massive changes to a squad in the middle of a series?

It should be: Stick to one squad announced before the series,

And please dont say "bUT tHeY aRe ReSTinG for the India series"

That shouldn't matter if the series is 1-1, Cricket Australia organised this series, and they need to focus on the present moment

How can you make it illegal?

I appreciate your point about changing mid series but really there are two issues raised in your post and neither of them are Australias?

1. People will say the victory is not proper - who cares? You can't please everyone and there is no asterix beside victories depending on what people say.

2. Countries playing b/c teams against Pakistan - Pakistan should do the same. We are the only one who refuses to rotate our teams.

Good to see Pakistan play their main tier 1 team even against Zimbabwe!

Didn't Pakistan do the same thing after losing the first test. In hindsight it all worked out but Pakistan also rested Babar and shaheen mid series.

I think mid series changes are mutually agreed upon between the two teams. And as a normal courtesy no one objects.
As for the current match, It just shows what Australia's true priority is. They are willing to lose an ODI series at home against Pakistan than risk key players for a long test series against India.

No one cares about meaningless ODIs.
Or meaningless T20Is for that matter.

They can be fun to watch and are a good way to identify players but let's not act like they mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

ok to clarify

by illegal i meant in cricket law terms

for example it is illegal for a bowler to chuck

not the law of countries or UN

but yes this was a useless overreaction thread I made after seeing so many b team matches

Nobody really cares about these bilateral ODI & T20 series

I mean India is playing South Africa & there was barely any murmur on Indian news channels. everyone is busy with Trump & Kamala Harris !

With rise of T20s, bilateral ODI’s have lost their value and no one really cares about them.

There was a time when Bilateral series used to mean something, nowadays it’s just a testing ground for teams for their next generation.
Pakistan might be the only non minnow country who fields a full strength team for bilateral ODI’s.

When so many Indians coordinate and group together reducing the value of the series then you know it has value.

When they got chittar from Sri Lanka in a "meaningless bilateral" they certainly felt it. In fact that "meaningless bilateral" is often cited against their current coach.

Pakistani fans need to come out of this " if India says its bad, then its good" mindset. Its a very negative way to look at things. That's how losers behave.

and yes Indians have really stopped caring about bilateral ODI & T20. Test matches are still valued. That's why Rohit & Gambhir is getting so much heat due to series loss against NZ. But that Sri Lank series. Literally nobody cares

Why you need validation from these Indians to assume anything good or bad?

Judge anything regardless what Indians thinks by putting gravity on your own intellectual process.

This

Pakistanis need to learn to think for themselves. Right now lots of Pakistanis simply cant think for themselves. They just check out what Indians are doing or saying and immediately assume the opposite must be good for Pakistan. Seen this attitude so often in this group & on social media in general

@mango_bite77

I don't know who you are never even noticed you on here before, seems like your trying to create something personal with me.

So boy tell me what's your stance about this Australia team and pakistan beating this c team

Nah. They got their first team spanked in the 2nd ODI. So they brought in B team players cause seniors were sore.
