Should Pakistan aim to chase for most of the 2019 World Cup games?

They are currently real terrible with analyzing worth of track and bat/ball accordingly. Malik may change things a bit but a single old card is not expected to do wonders in every game.

Having a target at scoreboard would push slow bugs like Imam, Haris, Babar to push for SR. Do you think we should prefer to bat second in most of the games? Considering that tracks are dead, there will be minimal pressure on the batsmen to chase scores down.

Yes from a cricket fan's perspective, otherwise games will be very short if Pak bats first!!!!

Depends on the opposition, ground etc. Need to do analysis for each opposition, ground, look at past records and all of that. Wonder if Pakistan will do that or not

Chasing is the way to go. We should bowl first, pick 5 proper bowlers and aim to bowl the opposition for 260 odd. Thats our best chance really.

Chasing suits the team better as they are forced to play aggressively. Also, the bowling unfortunately has looked toothless so chasing is a safe call.

Pakistani bowlers' morale has been hit quite badly by the English conditions and pitches. Babars and Imams are there to eat the cake provided by the bowlers who shared most of the burden for the team to win.

We have so many cheerleaders for these bad investments like babar, Imam, Hafeez, Malik they can check what sort of record they have against top 5 teams let alone chasing. Asif Ali is yet to build a score. Fakhar plays too many shots and has'nt finished the game, needs the middle order. We are in a terrible situation.

92 team was inexperienced yet capable while we have tried and tested sick jokes inducted by Inzamam without any oversight by PCB or the team management. He used the Eng tour to remove more lower order options like Faheem and kicked out Junaid from the WC squad second time in his career to get p@rchi Wahab play another World Cup.

Every team should. I've predicted over 80% of matches will be won by teams that chase. Unless of course it isn't Afghanistan vs England or India

Best to chase with this substandard bowling attack. Also it will give the likes of Imam and Babar to get their skates on earlier in the innings. The former bats at just under 4 rpo in the powerplay overs, that's an equivalent of a SR of around 65.
