Should players be dropped for playing for their milestones and for throwing their wickets away?

Babar Azam's shot after getting to his 50 was inexcusable. Even worse was his carefree attitude and willingness to expose the tail. Have seen Asad Shafiq and Sarfaraz do this as well.

This is another reason why we have been losing games from decent positions. Set batsmen throwing away their wickets after achieving personal milestones.

Damien Martyn was dropped for 5 plus years after playing an irresponsible shot which led his side to losing a test match. Umar Akmal's test career suffered ever since that freak dismissal against Zimbabwe in 2011.

Some of these players need a serious kick up their backside because they are just taking their spots and positions in the playing eleven for granted and not doing enough to earn their keep and contributing consistently to the team.

These guys mental midgets and will never win you games if the game was dependent on them...

Babar Azam is another Akmal [Kamran Akmal's paternal cousin] and on top of that most selfish player to play for Pakistan team.

But he does'nt need to fear as he'll be selected being the blue eyed boy of the selection cmmttee. Senior players in team are another shameless group who feel they are entitled to stay in the team even if their contribution is zero.

It all boils down to one issue only, that they're still being selected. So even they are not responsible its the person selecting them and not allowing any other worthy player from domestic.

this would mean entire line-up getting changed.
because all our batsmen lack passion to win games for the team. They are completely consumed by desire to secure their place in the team by scoring useless cheap runs

So basically drop the only players who ever reach milestones. Good idea!

It is a good idea, they need to be taught a lesson that it is criminal to throw away their wickets after they are set.
