What's new

Since 1986: India hasn't won more than 1 Test match in a series Against England (In England)

Indian team even if they win is in trouble because of poor captaincy and coach.

People will realize the importance of dhoni after his retirement.

Dhoni?? Are you for real? He was the worst test captain India ever had, even poor than Tendulkar.

Ridiculous statement. Dhoni was a very good captain all round.

He was defensive in overseas tests because he never had a 2nd good fast bowler in his team.

India had to play Stuart Binny on the last tour, for god's sake. Can you imagine what Dhoni could have done with this bowling line-up?

Kohli captaincy in this match

at one stage England were 86/6 and end up making 246

India were 142/2 at one stage and got to 190/8.

Then in 3rd innnings England were 5 down at 95 runs and were allowed by poor captaincy to set a target of 244.

You cant hold Kohli responsible for all that. The opposition is there to play as well...yes they did score 246 from 86/6 but it was due to some brilliant batting by Eng lower order more than poor captaincy. Even Ind were 190/8 and went onto score 270. Does it mean its Joe Root's fault??

Its test cricket...these ebbs and flows happens.
