Begins just before the 1 hour mark.
"We were here in Pakistan touring with the WI team in the 80s. I think Mohammad Ali was banned from boxing because of his refusal to go and fight the American way in Vietnam. I remember Mohammad Ali saying things like 'I can't remember any of these Vietnamese ever calling me ni****' and that to me is just powerful stuff.
"We don't need wars, man, we need love. We need to appreciate one another, knowing exactly the things that we can achieve together. We may not be of the same color and things like that, but respect for one another is seriously important and Mohammad Ali believed in that.
"I can remember we were in a hotel in Lahore and I think he was there with the Muslim League, they had invited him to Pakistan for him to do some tours because of his ban, etc. He was coming down in the lift at the same time and we were outside. The cricketers all knew. Wow, this is a big opportunity. Those days, I had my little beard and fro. As he came out of the lift, wow, it was such a great feeling to know one of your idols and individuals who you have such enormous respect for...
"As he came out of the lift, he looked at me with the little beard and said 'Hey man, you look like Smokin Joe!' Man, my heart sort of stopped beating."
