Something shocking I saw today on social media (related to people’s behaviour during COVID)

Today on my social media I saw multiple stories where people had posted pictures and videos of them at parties and concerts (this is in Karachi). A ton of people crowded close together and dancing without a care in the world.

We talk about Khadim Rizvi’s followers who went to his funeral but what about these upper middle class, entitled, selfish hypocrites who are at least educated? I can’t accept the blatant disregard for others and the lack of responsibility. Upper middle class and upper class Pakistani people really are the worst. They just have the privilege of education and a good upbringing.

Have left my house less than 10 times since March, but I guess it’s time to be even more careful with these types of people running around. Someone should tell them that going to a crowded party in the middle of the second wave of a pandemic is maybe not a good idea. They are spitting in the faces of those who have lost loved ones or are trying their best to fulfill their responsibility to not spread this disease.

These are the same hypocrites who will post all sorts of progressive stuff but when it comes time to act they do the opposite and give in to their mindless interests just to fit in because of their lack of personality. I know this rant doesn’t really help but I guess I wanted to vent and convey my surprise.

Agreed about the lack of personality part. These people cannot adapt to the modern lifestyle. If they cannot do that and are putting people under threat, then yes, let natural selection run it's course.

When you talk about class, it looks like the idiots are being exposed. The lower class people who are stupid are stupid through ignorance, while the upper class people who are stupid are stupid through arrogance.

The problem is that many people think Covid is a myth and it's not actually happening.

You have so many idiots who travel around the world not following quarantine protocols, thinking that they won't be infected.

Same idiots attend parties, visit houses and break various rules related to Covid.

Spoilt brats.
