What's new

Sorry but the patriotism and commitment of at least 7 of the 11 who started is open to question....

No passion or fire.

They make it seem like a impossible burden when instead it is a glorious job and millions dream of being in their boots.

I really think they don't care that much and just want the money and perks.

7 teams are here to win but we are just there to have a holiday.

Apart from Shehzad and Hafeez they tried. Sill wise we are way behind other teams especially in batting.

Many of them are limited players. Simply not good enough. However, Hafeez is the one that really stands out in terms of playing for himself. Would definitely question his commitment. But the antics of Amir and Wahab put them in doubt as well. How often have we seen 2 premier fast bowlers from any team going off the field in the SAME match? To me it looks like both were trying to save their faces.

How would these wrist slitting threads look if Pakistan somehow make it to the semis? I will never rule that out

At the start they were fired up, especially with Amir beating Sharma's bat at the start but then India just smoothly scored 100 for no loss and the team seemed like they lost belief which led to fielding mistakes. When they came out to bat, there was no intention to chase the score with players looking to score 50 off 80 rather than going down fighting. It would be interesting to know what the dressing room was like at the innings break because they seemed like a defeated team throughout with no passion.

Of course there is a lack of ability.

But they didn't even attempt the chase.

Pure cowardice. Even with this line-up on that road with short boundaries 250 was the minimum we should have got.

Only shoaib malik, shadab khan, M Aamir and hassan ali were showing any kind of fight. They were there giving 100%. Hassan Ali did drop a catch yes and went for runs but he had the indian batsmen tied down for majority of his spell and with only 1/2 down, any bowler would go for runs towards the end. Shadab n malik were xcellent in field. Malik was brutal. His judgement of where the ball is goin once batsmen hits the shot is abs amazing and his fitness was probably matched by only kholi or jadeja of the 22 playing. Aamir was xcellent but ended at the bad time. Shadab, for his debut match or 4th match was outstanding. The worst were our openers. Ahmad shahzad was clueless and Azhar was just playing for himself. Abs no commitment to score runs. Wahab was pathatic, imad below avg and haffez as usual playing for his 50

I honestly think the bowling was ok until about the time yuvraj came on. It looked for a while that we might only concede 260-280 but when yuvraj got dropped and then kohli and finally pandya hit those sixes the shoulders really dropped and India raced ahead.

Fans sometimes talk about complacency and fitness or lack of ability but for the last ten years or so gradually the Pakistan team has shown lack of fight. It's this in the one day game which costs us. In tests we can regroup and pull ourselves together but in limited overs, a few slaps and we are down and out.

Give it a rest. They are not very good, has nothing to do with patriotism

Relax guys,it was an off day.We were dominated and demolished but this team is certainly much better than the way it performed against India, not saying that they will beat S.A but surely they will give a better performance.
