Bangladesh never looked like they were going to win this match. Lot of extras from Sri lankan bowlers at the beginning of the stage. Prasanna's six of Fizz was the biggest I've seen in a while. Either Bangladesh are still minnows or Sri Lanka is just as good as any other top teams. Tharanga the captain almost threw the ball to Tissara Perera to bowl just before Malinga took the ball from him. Bangladehs was lucky the rain washed out the second Odi game.

this was a good batting track and Lanka restricted Bangladesh to a relatively low total, whereas the WI pitces were not ideal for batting and were really slow, it seemed like it was created for test matches, Bishop also pointed out that during the first t20, a first class game was going on the that ground.
