After I took the scuff sheet off my bat there is a sticky substance on it. I rubbed it with sandpaper from the sg toe guard pack and it isn't going off. Should I wait for the sticky substance to dry and rub it with sandpaper or should I heat it to remove or what should I do?

Also can I use nail polish remover to take the substance off? I will appreciate if ppl don't give wrong advice.

If I use sandpaper it scratches my bat and when I removed the sheet my bat is in a darker color. Please help.

first use a credit card or something to scrape off as much as possible, sand it with higher grit paper (smoother) and do it gently. u can use nailpolish remover but don't use too much,

I agree with ammo. If you keep sanding, it will go away. Dont worry brother.

Just keep sanding! Just keep sanding! Just keep sanding! Just keep sanding! Just keep sanding! Just keep sanding! Just keep sanding! Just keep sanding! Just keep sanding!

live with it brother sanding or nail polish remover dont really helps next idea would be to wait for some days and then rub it clean with hands.

I have done it heaps of times.

Can you post some pics? Maybe can advise a bit more....most has been covered.

wait for it to dry and rub it off with ure hands. i tried this while restickering a bat, it worked!

Zaid133, I have tried this as well I have rubbed about 60-70 % of it after waited for 1 month and the other 30 or so percent is not coming off or is too dry. Should I oil it so it becomes non-sticky and the dry products will come out?

i'd say use a hair drier and dry it then if it doesn't come off with the hand then oiling and soft sanding may do the trick.
