Associate teams defeating Sri Lanka in men's international cricket:
Keny by 53 runs in ODI WC, 2003
Namibia by 55 runs in T20 WC, 2022

An African team in 8th ODI WC, and an African team in 8th T20 WC.

Equal biggest chase from the last three overs in a World Cup [Both Pakistan]

Here’s a stat: that’s the matching that famous game when Mike Hussey did the same thing to Pakistan in the Caribbean in 2010.

Even Ajmal got clobbered that day in the last over. IIRC 18 runs were needed. Poor Nawaz who is not even half of Ajmal had only 16 runs to defend.

Namibia's Loftie-Eaton breaks the record for fastest-ever Men's T20I ton

Namibia batter Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton hit a hundred off just 33 balls against Nepal, making him the quickest man to reach the milestone in T20Is.

Loftie-Eaton achieved this landmark in the first T20I of the Nepal Tri-Nation T20I series against the hosts. Arriving when his side was precariously placed at 62/3 in the 11th over against the Rhinos, Loftie-Eaton unleashed a flurry of attacking strokes that helped Namibia race past 200.

Smashing 11 fours and eight sixes, the batter scored 101 off just 36 deliveries, reaching the hundred milestone on the 33rd delivery with a four. The previous fastest century in men's T20Is belonged to Nepal's Kushal Malla, who hit one off 34 balls versus Mongolia last year.

Bro you should rate this, because even if Babar was playing against Qatar, he wouldn't be able to do this. And he's the NO 1 BATSMEN IN THE WORLD.

39 runs scored from one over as Samoa batter breaks international record

A new international record at men's T20I level as 39 runs were conceded from one over in the match between Samoa and Vanuatu.

History was created at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional East Asia-Pacific Qualifier A event on Tuesday as Darius Visser helped break the record for most runs from one over of a men's T20I contest.

Visser smashed six sixes and was helped with three no balls from Vanuatu seamer Nalin Nipiko at Garden Oval No.2 in Apia, Samoa, as a total of 39 runs were scored from the 15th over of the contest.

History was created at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional East Asia-Pacific Qualifier A event on Tuesday as Darius Visser helped break the record for most runs from one over of a men's T20I contest.

The 39 runs conceded from the over was the most in the history of men's T20I, surpassing the famous 36-run feat achieved by Yuvraj Singh at the inaugural ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2007 and more recent efforts from Kieron Pollard (2021), Nicholas Pooran (2024), Dipendra Singh Airee (2024) and Rohit Sharma / Rinku Singh (2024).

Visser smashed sixes from the first three deliveries of Nipiko's over and then cleared the boundary from the fourth legal delivery of the over to help bring up the hundred for his country.

A dot ball from the fifth ball of the over did little to dampen Visser's spirits as the 28-year-old smashed a six from the third no ball of the over and finished the over with another almighty blow to ensure he broke the record and became the first player from Samoa to score a century in international cricket.

Visser finished his innings with a total of 14 sixes - four adrift of the most hit by one batter in a men's T20I - and his individual score of 132 from just 62 deliveries was enough to ensure Samoa registered their second victory at the event and kept their hopes up of qualifying for the next edition of the T20 World Cup in 2026.

The associate nation records should not be mixed with main teams records. It’s a mockery of cricket.

Zimbabwe shattered the record for the highest T20I score, surpassing Nepal's previous mark of 314 runs, with a staggering 344 runs against Gambia in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Africa Qualifier.

Sikandar Raza achieved a milestone, scoring his first T20I century and becoming the first Zimbabwean cricketer to register centuries in all formats of international cricket.

Records should only count if both teams are non-associates. At this rate the highest score will be broken every year

Only the third instance of two batters scoring hundreds in the same innings in men's T20Is 🔥

Ivory Coast have entered the record books for the lowest total in a men's T20I, being bowled out for just 7 in a 264-run defeat to Nigeria in an ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Africa Qualifier Group C match in Lagos.

Argentina seamer joins exclusive club with rare T20I double hat-trick

A remarkable feat during a qualifier for the next ICC Men's T20 World Cup as an Argentina veteran claimed four wickets in four consecutive deliveries.

Argentina bowler Hernan Fennell joined an exclusive club of just six players when he claimed a double hat-trick during his side's ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional Americas Qualifier clash against the Cayman Islands in Buenos Aires on Sunday.

Fennell picked up four wickets in four consecutive deliveries during the final over of Cayman Islands innings, becoming just the sixth player to have completed the feat previously in men's T20I matches.

The 36-year-old joins Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan, Sri Lanka speedster Lasith Malinga, Ireland all-rounder Curtis Campher, West Indies veteran Jason Holder and Waseem Yaqoobr of Lesotho as bowlers to have completed a T20I double hat-trick.

Jason Holder (West Indies)England, 2022

Hernan Fennell (Argentina)Cayman Islands, 2024
Fennell had Troy Taylor caught with the third delivery of his fourth over and then trapped Alistair Ifill lbw with the very next ball to reduce Cayman Islands 116/8 in their final over.

The Argentina seamer then dismissed Ronald Ebanks and Alessandro Morris with the final two deliveries of the innings to make it four wickets in four consecutive balls to complete the remarkable feat on his way to remarkable figures of 5/14.

Fennell also became just the sixth player in the history of men's T20I to have picked up multiple hat-tricks, with the Argentina veteran having previously achieved the feat against Panama in Antigua in 2021 as part of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Region Qualifier event.

Malta's Waseem Abbas, Australia's Pat Cummins, Serbia's Mark Pavlovic, New Zealand's Tim Southee, Malinga and now Fennell are the only players to have picked up more than one men's T20I hat-trick.

Fennell's heroics failed to inspire Argentina, with the South American side all out for just 94 in reply to Cayman Islands score of 116.
