And then we complain that youngsters are sent to tours to warm the benches!

Inspired selection choices and well done for team mgmt to pick these guys to play for Pakistan in Tests.

The other two forced themselves in

I applaud Abbas' selections.

Normally people would have said random things like 'not tall enough," "not fast enough"

He deserves credit but mistakes are usually more apparent

I think Inzi's done a better job than people give him credit for. He's still relatively new to the job and will hopefully only get better at it. The biggest problem section wise for the tests was Shan Masood over Sami Aslam and it's pretty obvious there were non-cricketing reasons that probably pressured Inzi into making that choice. I'm sure Sami will be back for the next tour. Other than that he's shown a willingness to give the younger players real chances as well as rewarding domestic performers.

Good selection and what I'm more happy with is that these bowlers were used. Would've been nice to see Asghar play though.

Re: CT selection - people gotta remember that Azhar and Shehzad would never have got selected if Sharjeel and Latif were under their fixing spotlight. He (Inzi) had to make do with what he had, I guess the downfall was that Manzoor justified his selection whereas the other two didn't.

The only real complaint I have is that there was a lot of hesitancy in picking a squad of 'fresh faces', as well as no real standout performer in domestic, and we went defensive and picked the same old players like U. Akmal, Shehzad, Wahab, etc.
