So far this world has already seen players suffering from the wrath of Indians.

Max O'Dowd after dropped the catch against Pakistan was abused mercilessly by Indians and it caused him to be incredibly disheartened and proclaim that " Indian fans were angrier than the dutch". The dutch team gave him some extra care and support.

Carlos Braithwaite has already complained to Elon Musk regarding the behaviour of Indians.

And recently Kevin Pietersen was tagged by an Indian channel who made up a quote using his name, and was forced to clapback.

In previous world cups Indians have threatened players wives and families with very vulgar things.

This level of abuse and disinformation must be challenged and ideally Indians should police it themselves. It is cheapening the conversation around cricket, make up fake news and when it gets abusive is putting the physical and mental health of players at risk.

Indians have an unchallenged presence on X and Instagram and they spread propaganda against Pakistan which is mostly unchallenged

This is a major problem. With such a large population and an extremely active online presence, India is able to push fake narratives and misinformation at scale. Coordinated posts, recycled talking points, and selective or misleading claims can be amplified within minutes across social media platforms. Once these narratives gain traction, they quickly spread beyond local audiences and reach a global level. Unfortunately, many people accept these claims at face value without verifying sources, checking context, or questioning credibility, which allows misinformation to shape opinions and discussions far more than facts do.

Twitter has become pretty useless after Elon made tweets monetizable.

You can make money by getting a high engagement on tweets and given that Indians are the biggest userbase on there outside the US, engaging with them earns you the most .. whether it's hating on them or sucking up to them. It goes both ways.

fixed it for you (y)
You know how algorithm works right. More you pay attention to certain type of news from certain type of resources more you will see ushc news on your feed. You have the option to turn off such news. Start watching cat videos :) your feed will not be a cesspool anymore

It’s not just cricket it’s in everything. I must say some of the filth posted by Indians on every subject they take exception to is disgusting.

Of course in every country you get a few. Now whether Indians are just better at bot farming or not, I don’t know. But it’s just filthy.

I’m glad the Indians on this forum - as annoying and delusional as some of them are - keep it clean.

Disgusting stuff! Indian behavior is becoming the venom of the internet.

When a nation PM Post a fake image , in Pakistani parliament showing a video game as proof bit these shameless people's use some bot account as fake post. 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Saram magar ati ni hai

:klopp :kp

The focus has shifted from "Dead internet theory" (which means that most content/traffic on internet is bot/artificially generated), to "Indian internet theory" (which means that most English content is generated by indians due to their massive population and ability to use internet).

The fact that China is behind a massive digital firewall and has relatively weak connectivity outside of their region & EU has their own regional languages adds credence to this theory. The massive diaspora in all English speaking countries over a longer duration of time also means that there's no place that's out of scope of this internet demography.

One plus side of more stringent age checks could be that there will be fewer bots and troll accounts but generally speaking, any strict policy does not really stop abusers, just makes them smarter while ordinary people continue to suffer.

The Indian propaganda news channel on YouTube is quite funny with their viewpoints on anything related to Pakistan.

LOL as if Pakistanis are any better. Forget about twitter, the other day in ARY tv show Har Lamha Purjosh they played an AI voice of BCCI President Rajiv Shukla saying he begged Pakistan to play against India. Later Shukla ji confirmed on his x page that video was edited. I even created a thread about it here but got taken down

There's a lot of pakistanis posing as indians and using the trojan horse effect on X. a lot of vile content comes from your neck of the woods as well, so get off the collective high horse.

This goes beyond cricket and India. Politics is the primary use case.

I wonder if AI can detect fake stuff and blank it out.

Right wing everywhere has been using social media to sway opinion and radicalize people and spread hatred since 2016. This is one of the primary reasons rhat the right wing everywhere in the world, has to come to power and maintains.it.

AI is controlled by those billionaires who support the right wing, so they will only use it to spread more misinformation and supress the truth.

The whole world is sick of Indian keyboard warriors. Just check Twitter or Reddit.

Indian keyboard warriors are doing everything to stain the repo of Pakistan players with their pathetic and gutter-level posts... Like in the case of Carlos... Next level misinformation spreaders

It goes both ways... haven't you seen videos on social media of 'Cartoon Network' (I don't know what their official name is but that is what they are called on Pakistani social media, they are a bunch of uber patriotic moh phat Indian fans who watch matches live and give their reactions for views). These guys have made a killing by giving over the top reaction on Pakistani matches even if India is not playing.

Pakistani fake propaganda factory Post - Erin Holland PSL Host On World Cup In India

“There need to be higher standards when it comes to hygiene, food quality, and overall safety for international events. As a woman, feeling secure outside the hotel environment is extremely important. I don’t think so india is better option to host ICC events…

Pure comedy gold. Some people are born immune to humiliation. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

It was bound to happen.

The Indian IT cells spread disinformation/exaggerations and then same got taken advantage of.

It's the 'Yes...And' technique. Take the propoganda against you and add further to it or multiply it. Make it vile enough that it will start backfiring against the spreader big time. It's being done on this forum as well lol.

Other IT cells saw that the only way to combat the Indian IT cell propoganda was to make the Indian IT cell propoganda even more extreme and it's worked.

The cat is out of the bag and it ain't going back.

Thats why exaggeration has a cost . Falsehood even more.

Yes.

They can no longer fool the world. People are now more aware of Indian fake news. :dav

Indians don't need Pakistan for engagement. They just have to say something positive or negative about Kohli. That is enough for them. Nobody has coppedmore abuse than Kohli and Rohit from each other fans. Pakistan is hardly the focus of many. Nobody pays attention to it either.

Or maybe websites need to have a proper moderation policy like reddit.

Not allow abuse just for the hope of getting more thread views..

Sure 'Cartoon Network' is a figment of our imagination

Social media sites can ask for phone verification or ID verficiation.

For example, "Truth Social" platform requires phone verification. Some Discord groups also have that requirement.

These same toxic sanghis may turn into friendly Mahatma Gandhis once they lose anonymity. :inti
