The Outfield has been absolute disgrace and unfit for any International or League Cricket at the moment. Heck even domestic cricket.
This is like playing with players fitness and is really scary with WC round the corner.
Today PSL 4 has ended for Nasir Nawaz after just 1 match with a serious knee injury. No announcement yet but it seems it's over.
Yesterday Haris's knee got struck while diving and I was like Oh God another knee injury coming up for him. Thankfully he remained unharmed. Surely he is one of the contenders for World Cup spot.
Today when Imam dived at the boundary his knee got struck aswell with a patch of ground getting uprooted.
PSL 4 could have ended prematurely for star Ab De Velliers after one or two matches only when his knee also got struck while diving and got a big patch of grass with it. It was like a miracle than he remained ok. His was the worst.
There have been other instances too woth knees of players getting stuck while sliding or diving while fielding. The Outfield is simply pathetic.
One Must note that many of the foreign players are T20 leagues specialists who need to stay fit whole year while World Cup is around the corner with all Pak players playing PSL.
If we have some matches vs Australia here in Dubai next month than we can just hope players remain fit while fielding on this soggy outfield.
Previously I did not find Dubai stadium's outfield to be like that. Only this PSL it's highly substandard risking players fitness.
