248/6...can we got collo early and press on the advantage?

Hey is our openers to see off the first 10 overs and then start to open up for the rest of the batting line up. It is extra fragile with Kamal and Raza.

should be interesting!

would be brilliant if we can get England for under 300 BUT the longer Collingwood stays the harder it will be! i think they will probably get closer to 350

patient batting is the key for us - its important we dont rely on Inzi to get us all the runs, we need the others to score a big one aswell to release some of the pressure of the big man

Its gonna be a Hassan Raza show today inshallah

yeah i really hope he makes some runs today! he had a rottent test in Multan, hopefully he can fare better this time round!

well hopefully he would not have to bat today and asim kamal will get his maiden test century

Like thats in our hands.
Its the Rudi/Hair show :12:

if we cannot get him caught or LBW, we just have to bowl his butt down! I do not mean throw poor ole Salman(Butt) into the wicket, I mean knock Mr. Desperate's stumps over.

Yaar if we have to throw Salman into the wickets to get him out, I say we do it

The problem is Collingwood can not hear the wood! So we have to knock his wood off, use Salaman or anything.

well he was told off in the last match for running on the wicket, i doubt he will get away with it now :9: nope just dont see it :D

Will Pakistan take the new ball as soon as it is due?
And how long will Shoaib's opening burst be?

Good start
Does Inzi hold the new ball and give danish some more overs?

the best would be, the debutant's middle stump flying out of the ground, but damnit! the guy has a pretty decent defense.

Udal played a lose defensive shot, asim kamal took a comfortable catch at silly mid on.
Second over of the day finished. 2 runs off it.
danish to continue

The debutant looking uncomfortable against danish's variable pace. plays a sweep down thirdman, picks up two runs.

Shoaib on to bowl now, a discussion between inzimam, shoaib, and yousuf. shoaib shook his head coming towards inzi...probably about the new ball. new ball taken straight away.

How did Udal get out?
Big inside edge off pad straigh to Kamal at short leg. Umpire didn't look to move but Udal walked since he knew it was surely out.

so danish takes a wicket and gets taken off straight away!

ooo! 2nd ball pitched on the middle stump, late swing...collingwood edges it to the boundary. through the gap between gully and slip

Collingwood gets four, Rameez goes "well placed" despite it beign a edge and collignwood smiling

Shoaib bowling fast, and sticking to the off stump channel. he's been very impressive with his control

he's around 92 - 94 mph consistently

Thanx
I know i shouldn't be so obsessed with his bowling speed, but I am.

lol it's quite alright. he's an amazing bowler...and he's bowling a very disciplined line and length with great pace

shoaib bowling at a realaly good length, and keeping his line very disciplined. he's getting the batsman to play at every ball...he's thinking!

yaar lagta nahin hein that this Plunket guy will be able to get bat on ball
Shoaib should try to york him

91.1 mph to end the over. excellent effort there by the paceman!
he's getting the batsman to go after the deliveries...he's toying with him by keeping it at a very good length, and at the same time keeping his line clean, and his pace right up there in the 90's and beating the batsman

Collingwood doesnt deserve 100 after that dirty inside edge(how he acted after how he didn't touch it. One thing just to stand there, but he made gestures and stuff).

rana follows his good bouncer up with a poor delivery, and ends up getting smashed for a boundary.
third ball beat collingwood, didn't carry to the keeper

bring on Sami, Naveed is useless
Also drop Naveed from the ODI squad.

oh! sweet mother of kookabura bats!
what a beautiful delivery by rana to collingwood...late outswing...beat him all ends up

only one instruction given to Plunkett : "block every delivery dat comes straight".

lol mooz...honestly speaking, we'd be better off with sarfaraz nawaz bowling for us in sami's place.
yeah...that's how good he is!

Shoaib is bowling too good to get a wicket, Plunkett is going to play and miss all day and never edge the ball.
Maybe some crap bowler can get him while going for a shot, and they don't come much crappier than Sami.

ahh! gandi ball!
rana gets hit for another boundary...what's with this "a boundary ever over" stuff from him!
come on rana!

by hook or crook, this partnership is already becoming worrisome for Pakistan.

blanket is getting used to the conditions now...he should have been removed earlier...now would be a good time too...another few overs for himthere, and he'll just glue himself to the crease
