Step 4) Player experiences a dip in form
Step 5) Ask for his head

Why are we the most impatient fans in cricket? In the span of 2-3 months I have seen Asad being compared with Tendulkar and Sarfraz being hailed as the best wk batsman to both now facing the PP axe. Why is that every innings a player fails to perform everybody jumps on him and want him out of the team but as soon as he performs again everybody jumps on the hype wagon?

Very few people are asking for Shafique & Sarfraz to be axed.


Among those few people majority are those who have a phadda/muqaabla with posters who are hardcore fans of Shafique & Sarfraz so they just indulge into high levels of pointscoring

Have to say comparison to sachin is like the death knell for our batsmen.

Unlike Akmal and Shehzad, Shafiq neither was flashy nor had a dedicated cheerleader club, so the pointless comparison to Sachin never came and he kept performing

Then comes Mr Mickey Arthur and he compares Shafiq to tendulkar and everything goes awry

Asad shafiq has been classed as the most stylish Pakistani batsmen and rightly so
But with the change in sails and fortune with the departure of misbah due early next year everyone is looking to prove themselves

Here is asads chance to stake his claim too and prove he is also purer than gold and more partitioned than oil by becoming that succesor and get everyone on his side from waqar to moin and especially the likes of wahab onside and get the rest of the team on board too
