Jokes aside, Butt is right about the minnows thing. You play consistent games vs minnows, then New Zealand and get overwhelmed. Then another set of consistent games vs minnows, and then get thrashed vs India. There's an obvious pattern here. Not to sound too overly optimistic but now that Pakistan's gotten this wake-up call, they'll do much better by playing good teams consistently; that way, being overwhelmed by the massive difference in skill (going from playing a minnow team to a solid team) won't be an issue.

Asif was supposed to come to bat when Pak needed 40 off 25 balls. Shadab was supposed to protect his wicket and rotate the strike. He failed in rotating and received a message from a sub to go.for it after scoring 4 off 23. He duly got out the next ball. Is shadab capable of scoring a 30 off 40 balls? That's what his role was.
