The Social Media spat between Mohammad Amir and Harbhajan Singh

Amir should know he has no leg to stand on after being caught spot fixing. His charges, his guilt, his prison sentence will stick with him forever. He should know others will use his crimes as leverage and ammo on social media. He should delete his social media accounts and move on.

Bhajji is overreacting here clearly unnecessarily

“After his 'Twitter war' with Mohammad Amir, Harbhajan Singh said that Pakistan PM Imran Khan should open schools where 'senseless and classless' people like the pacer are taught how to behave with the elders. The banter which turned ugly late on Tuesday, started when Amir tried to troll Harbhajan.”

In a video presentation shared by Sportskeeds Uncensored, India’s Harbhajan and Pakistan’s Akhtar discussed the reasons behind Team India’s early exit and Pakistan’s success in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 to the semi-finals stage. The duo also discussed the rising hate on social media between the cricket fans of the two nations and how one should enjoy cricket instead of all the hate-mongering doing the rounds.

"During this World Cup, lot of things have happened, lot of things have been said from Pakistan and its people on Twitter and same from our side. I said some things, just like your players (ref: Amir) said a few things. But overall we are international cricketers and we have more responsibilities to set a good example for people and the message that we must give to them," said Bhajji.

"So, we need to avoid a Twitter war of words in the future. It started off as banter but it's better if fun is restricted to fun. If we didn't play well, that shouldn't mean Pak fans climb on us or the other way around," highlighted Harbhajan.

To which Akhtar readily replied by saying, "I agree, mutual respect is very important."
