Title says it all. What do u guys think about it. I personally believe that toss has become way too important in modern day limited overs cricket.

If we look at the ongoing champions trophy we'll see that almost 80% of the matches have been won by the teams that have won the toss. These matches weren't even closely contested. Teams that have won the toss literally thrashed their opponents in every single match.

This problem isn't exclusive to the condition and flat pitches of England only. In Asia the problem is even more staggering, especially during a day-night match. Team that wins the toss and bowls first in a day night match in Asia gets way too much unfair advantages.

What can be done to solve this problem? Surely we can't allow this to continue.

In today's game, Eion Morgan said he would have batted first anyway - so toss did not make a difference here.

Instead of two innings of 50 overs each, there should be 4 innings of 25 overs each.
This would reduce the role of toss significantly.
