Touring Australia or touring India: Which is the more dreaded tour?

Tough question for cricketers, not fans.

I don’t think there is a tour or conditions in world cricket as challenging as these two venues. Australia is a known place to have caused serious mental breakdowns of cricketers in the past, and India itself has a climate that can be extremely challenging. But what tour is more difficult and where would a victory register as a true achievement?

Touring Australia. Both fans and media will be constantly attacking you and Australian fast bowlers always pepper you with brutal bouncers.

In last 10 year or so it's india. No team has performed well here in last 7 - 8 years. All Batsman & Bowlers from overseas fail to make impact and most time india wins comfortably.

Definitely Australia. It breaks most teams, but it also toughens them up for the following series.

Personally I would go for Australia, I can name 3 teams that have had dramatic changes in their history because of such tours to Australia. Long post coming up tomorrow morning

Scary stuff but what happens to Pak players they seem to be alright after a while or they don't show their emotions

Very true. Ind will not bother us much. We play well in Eng and have played pretty well mostly in NZ.

Pakistan doesn't have to face the pressure of the Ashes when they're in Australia. Plus 5 tests is brutal.

Australia.

Under Kohli India don't drop tests but previously they did drop tests and have lost a few unexpected series.

Even at their weakest Australia have ruthlessly beaten teams and can win series 3/4-0 a majority of the time.
