Want to have some fun on the forum? Let’s play a forum-friendly version of Truth or Dare!

  • Any member who wants to participate should post “Truth” or “Dare.”
  • The next poster can then reply with either “Truth” (to ask them a question) or “Dare” (to give them a challenge).
  • Only the poster who said “Truth” or “Dare” can ask the question or give the dare to the person who replied.
  1. Truths:
    • Can be about anything (cricket, forum opinions, personal preferences, etc.).
    • The member must answer honestly.
  2. Dares:
    • Must stay within PakPassion’s forum rules.
    • Should be forum-related only. Examples:
      • “I dare you to change your DP for a day.”
      • “I dare you to post your unpopular cricket opinion in XYZ thread.”
      • “I dare you to bash BCCI in the ABC thread.”
    • All dares must have a 1-day limit (e.g., DP stays changed for 24 hours).
  3. Sportsmanship:
    • Keep it lighthearted.
    • No rule-breaking, no offensive content.
Let’s see who’s brave enough for a Truth or Dare PakPassion edition! 😎

Sir,

Have you ever played devil’s advocate on purpose in a topic here on PakPassion (You also have to tell us which topic it was :P)
Yes. At times, I have supported teams against Pakistan on purpose to annoy some posters. In reality, I didn’t want Pakistan to lose.

(Truth)

I don't think I will ever select "dare" in this game. Haha!

I always try to be truthful. So, I am always likely to pick "Truth".

I am selecting "truth". Feel free to ask. :inti

No Man, wonder why you asked that
Some of your political takes are too heavy handed. I understand the pragmatism but one result of the heavy handedness has been the general disenfranchisement of the populace. You don’t want that I know. So that’s why I asked you this. This is with reference to pak politics btw.

@Major can you explain with a bit more detail?
Anyone who want to ask a question should post "Truth or Dare"
Than the one who wants to answer can choice either truth or dare.

I think everyone got confused. Everyone wanted to answer. No one wanted to ask

Truth is easier.

Dare is more difficult as you don't know what you will be asked to do. :inti

I stopped checking pp for a few years but when I tuned in and saw some famous posters like @Major @Mamoon @Rana supporting anti-people politics I was quite surprised. I get that they hate IK and are annoyed by his supporters but they actually went ahead and took an anti-people stance. I was disturbed by the heavy handedness they were promoting against well-meaning Pakistanis. Now that initial shock is gone, my impression is that they are beneficiaries of the current setup and their support for it is simply based on self preservation.. btw I still see them as interesting posters. Probably unfair to categorise all of them the same on my part too.

No they are just dumb attention seekers.

I used to rate Mamoon quite highly, but he completely overplayed the contrarian persona. After the 2023 World Cup he just wasn’t the same poster. His credibility evaporated the moment he flipped from being one of Babar’s harshest critics to suddenly becoming his biggest cheerleader. The best way to put it is this, he’s like Arsene Wenger or milk past its expiry date. Once great, but eventually turned stale.

Major, on the other hand, is comfortably the worst of the bottom‑tier posters. Judging by your display picture, I’m guessing you’re a big YK fan like I am. Well, according to Major, Younis Khan "carries a knife" and Imran Khan was “lucky to get imprisonment” because he supposedly “deserved the death penalty.” Add that to his other mind numbing takes like claiming Misbah was a better ODI batter than Inzamam. With such takes, Major will always be known as the go to guy for draining brain cells.

Rana, to his credit, has stood the test of time. He saw through the Babar/Rizwan T20 opening partnership long before anyone else dared question it, even when their hype was at its peak. His cricketing insight is genuinely solid. And while he doesn’t support Imran Khan politically, he still had the integrity to distance himself from Major’s shameless comments about IK supposedly deserving capital punishment.

Do you live in Pakistan?

When a person who doesnt live in Pakistan, how could that person go around judge people who whom they support?

Imran committed treason. He is guilty as how Mushraffe was guilty. This isnt about what you like or what i like.

When you go against the constitution it clearly states that their is a death sentence for it

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. All three are some of my fav posters and precisely because of their outlandish posting style. I am not going to get into their cricketing views but I have no hesitation in saying that they lost sight of what they stood for vis-à-vis pak politics. I know they despise IK but that shouldn’t be the sole principle guiding their politics.

Brother, trust me, you have no idea about everything he went through in life to become the gentleman and a caring father he is today. It’s easy to talk smack about someone behind his back but he gave his youth to this forum to stand for the truth at the expense of all the unjust hatred that he was subjected to by Pakistani posters.

Trust me when he returned, and did a heel turn, he was in his mind already done with being a contributor to the forum but it was his way of giving something to his haters as a gesture.

Also, he became a deeply religious man and inspired hundreds of posters here to practice classic Islam the way prophet Mohammad PBUH gave the true word of Allah SWT. For that alone he just be admired and kept in our hearts in the most respectful way possible like wr all should for a brother we shared so many thoughts and memories with.

I know you’re a good man and this is nothing personal against you. But I miss him dearly and also pray that wherever he is he is happy with his family, where he feels like he belongs truly.

That Mamoon heel turn was very John Cena esque with The Last Real POTW Champion theme, so much so that our own Bhaijaan had to cancel his own last time is now tour of retiring at 69k posts. :wenger

My retirement was certain. It was a deeply emotional decision. But @gazza619 bhai and @DeadlyVenom bhai asked me to take the retirement back for the sake of the forum brotherhood and I couldn’t refuse them.

We need some authentic sanatani representatives..hikaru Bhai is good but it's to soon for him to take up this duty. He also doesn't take the job of representing the culture too seriously and only posts sporadically compared to your daily analysis.

When he is more mature and committed then perhaps you can retire.

So according to your analogy a person can't judge Rape to be evil because they have never committed a Rape!

Secondly, these are 3 people who were charged and convicted by British for "treason" in the Indian Army:
  1. Major-General Shah Nawaz Khan
  2. Colonel Prem Kumar Sahgal
  3. Colonel Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon
Do you know what they did?

What is the meaning of life to you?
i see individual life as a cosmic flash of the universe observing itself through us. in the vastness of space and time for a reason unknown to me the universe blinked into consciousness and formed a network of points of self awareness, us.

as an individual i thus see meaning fulfilled in learning as much as i can on the topics i am drawn to, not just academic learning, but living life, standing on the sandy shores of a beach staring at the sky with warm water lapping at my feet just as much as having studied physics in uni.

secondly building relationships with people as the only coordinate system to rationalise my beliefs against the beliefs and experiences of those i interact with. there is no objective method of testing reality, and this is especially true imo on a spiritual level, where i have delved into what resonates with people on a spiritual level, to help find what hits the right notes for me.

If I can die saying I learned and lived, and sensed and felt, and tried my best not to hurt anyone, and learned from others what I couldn’t learn alone, that feels like a life well used.

my own silent hope is that there is an existance of consciousness beyond this, one where we can observe, interact and influence matter, space, time, spirit, and humanity on a higher level, but if there isnt, then so be it, im happy with knowing for a tiny moment of all existance, i was part of it.

thanks for asking such a deep question, made me stop and think, and i really enjoyed putting that into words, even if it sounds a bit plodding and long winded.

Neither do you, so why are you pretending as if you know him personally?

So one day you’re an Afghan Muslim living in India. Next day, you’re a Hindu and Modi’s backside consumer. Which one is it? Or do you have multiple people using your account?
