According some reports Flu+Covid could enter your body. They say its twice as dangerous.

In the UK this month (Oct 21), so many are falling ill. With cold, flu, coughs and other symptoms.

Have you been infected by this combination?

How did you feel or are feeling?

From what I know, you are more likely than most to catch your self labeled twindemoc, considering you don’t believe in vaccines.

Take the flu shot as preventive measure and one should be fine.

But then again, some people believe vaccines are conspiracy/hoax so good luck to them for building natural immunity in such a short time.

Two friends have Delta despite being double jabbed. It hangs on for weeks, but the key thing is that neither were hospitalised.

I had the flu once many years ago. Worst I ever felt. Screaming headache, throwing up, fever, couldn’t eat. Don’t want that again. Got the flu jab last year but not this year so far.

The thought of both of these at once is not pleasant.

Still got this brute of a cold. Very sleepy, but painkillers control the headache.

It is something that has been known for a long time. Most RT-PCR assays now test for both flu and covid.

Hope you and your friends feel better, wish you a quick recovery, bud.
Cheers!

If you eat unhealthy, over weight, dont excercise, the vaccines of flu + covid wont help.

Doesnt sound pleasant.

Why havent you had the flu jab this year? Also how will you know if you have both covid and the flu?

On the contrary, they do help such people because most of the people in the US are overweight, don’t exercise and don’t take care of themselves and yet the stats pre and post vaccine tell you the real story. Wether you want to believe it or not is a different story!

If you are fully healthy, and unvaccinated, you can still catch a bug… especially if it’s man made as most people believe now it is.

Sure it will, the body will already have antibodies to COVID raised by the vaccine, and will recover faster from infection with less chance or hospitalisation or death, and crucially will be infective for less time.

Well I feel a bit stupid now, I get paid by the day on this contract and didn’t want to lose pay so I missed my slot. But I was already feeling rough so they would have turned me away anyway. If you have any virus symptoms they won’t let you in.

I’ll know if I have COVID from a lateral flow test. Dunno about flu.

How many Flu deaths recorded in 2020 in the UK, compared to the average number of flu deaths per year prior to 2020?

Unsure. I believe the average figure is 11,000 per annum by flu alone in the UK, with double that due to flu plus a bacterial infection.

Interesting from the ONS here:

“Of all death occurrences between January and August 2020, there were 48,168 deaths due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) compared with 13,619 deaths due to pneumonia and 394 deaths due to influenza. Influenza and pneumonia was mentioned on more death certificates than COVID-19, however COVID-19 was the underlying cause of death in over three times as many deaths between January and August 2020.”

Surely there would be a huge overlap between CV19, pneumonia, and flu. Many unfortunate people possibly had two or three of them at once. I’m not sure how solid or trustworthy the CV19 death figures really are at times.

Nail. Head. Hammer.

Covid death numbers are questionable at best.

Got the flu and died? Covid.

Got pneumonia and died? Covid.

Heart attack? Covid.

Cancer? Covid.

Hit by a bus and died? Yup, you guessed it, Covid.

Hence, dying with Covid virus is not the same as dying of the Covid virus. Countless reports on how death certificates had incorrect cause of death (covid) opposed to the real cause.

Perhaps, as COVID is so much more virulent and fatal than flu, it killed all those people before flu could.

This thing doesn’t just kill through flooded lungs and thrombosis though, it gets into organs and causes heart attacks, liver failure, kidney failure. Huge numbers of people hospitalised due to COVID are discharged and then shortly die of issues such as heart disease. That’s why I overstate the Government’s figures.

The death figures for Covid are just really bizarre and sometimes I don’t understand how they get figured out.

My boss’s auntie had a cold, a chest infection, then pneumonia, and in the end she died in hospital with horrendously scarred lungs.

This was in May 2020 before mass testing was available. She had nevertheless tested negative for CV19 twice whilst in hospital. They then tested the saliva from her dead body with a 3rd PCR test — came up positive — went down as a Covid death only. Pneumonia not even mentioned on the death certificate. My boss still can’t believe it to this day.

It’s one example, from one hospital, for one victim — but I strongly suspect that there are all sorts of stories out there which are not dissimilar to this.

^ I have suffered a very very bad case of covid and have had (young) loved ones sadly pass away from it but completely agree about the way deaths are reported.

I know of someone who sadly died of an overdose and it was recorded as a Covid death!

The family were quite relieved that it wasnt put down as a drug related death on the cetificate....but everyone knew how that person died.

Sorry to hear about your personal losses, and on the latter point, that’s astonishing.
