Two-day finish in Tests- Host country wise

9- England
7- South Africa
2- India
1- New Zealand
1- Australia
1- UAE
1- Zimbabwe

Since 2000

Leeds 2000
Sharjah 2002
Cape Town 2005
Harare 2005
Port Elizabeth 2017
Bengaluru 2018
Ahmedabad 2021

Sharjah 2002
Hayden (119) beat Pak (59 & 53) by an innings.
Warne (4/11 & 4/13)

2 days finish is not good for Test cricket.

I was surprised this game finished in 6 sessions.

two days games are good if they happen once in a while so no complaints there.

Root got 5/8 ,now thats something which worries me

That Bangalore test cant be included since it was Afghanistan's debut test and they were well out of their depth. Surprising that we have never had a 2 day test before this.

This came up today. Was quite funny to hear about. One innings is acceptable. But twice :)

Yeah Dhawan vs Rashid Khan was painful to watch.

The test that ended in UAE had 3 innings in total, it was more of pathetic batting from Pakistan (and maybe some politics behind it as we always used to start losing before the WC was in the sight to make a point for Wasim Akram to become the captain) but it did not end in 2 days due to a poor pitch.

I remember that UAE test...
We were rotten to the core.

Saeed Anwar, Moyo, Wasim and Inzimam were missing due to one reason or another.

Had nothing to do with the wicket but more to do with a mixture internal politics and a sever dose of ineptness

Wasim Akram had already retired from test cricket.
