I am convinced. The US of A are slaves of the Israelis. It is actually quite remarkable. At this point I wouldn't put it beyond them to sacrifice America for Israel. God help them. What a weird nation.

But now, a group of 43 senators — 29 Republicans and 14 Democrats — wants to implement a law that would make it a felony for Americans to support the international boycott against Israel, which was launched in protest of that country’s decades-old occupation of Palestine. The two primary sponsors of the bill are Democrat Ben Cardin of Maryland and Republican Rob Portman of Ohio. Perhaps the most shocking aspect is the punishment: Anyone guilty of violating the prohibitions will face a minimum civil penalty of $250,000 and a maximum criminal penalty of $1 million and 20 years in prison.

I could be wrong. But a few years ago I saw/or heard (can't quite remember) that the every congressman in the US congress has to pledge allegiance to Israel! Is this really true? If so then I can see the above being passed.

At this point I don't discard any possibility to the US' policies to Israel. That nation is a slave. Like what the hell why is the bill above even legal?

It has the support of 43 senators and counting. That fact that it even made it this far shows how screwed up as a nation the US is, and I wouldn't rule it being passed out.

Its important to remember you have Christian fundamentalists who are also Zionists. They too believe the establishment and existence of Israel confirms their end times scriptures. Historically Jews and Christians have been against each other but in the last 100 years they have become close partners because both are trying to speed up what they call Armageddon.

Israel is an apartheid state, this is a fact! To criminalise anyone boycotting shows the low nature of these people in power, it's a disgrace.

Fortunately it seems like the ACLU is going to challenge this bill in court if it ever comes into effect. Media sources such as Democracy Now! have also made more people aware of the implications of this bill which seems to have been ignored by large from all media.

You don't need a law. Any politician not pro-Israel gets the full force of AIPAC, the media, financial institutions and anyone else you care to name that has power and influence, directed against them. Their chances of being elected (or re-elected) are worse than zero. Heck, they'll never even get another well paying job if they're outed as being anti-Israel.

Actually Israel is very smart for all one knows they might be dictating situations in middle east as well and setting directions for Wahabi Islam thereby its good for USA to have such an ally.

Flaws of Saudi and co are known very well. Look at how Iran is portrayed as this huge threat to the west and a terror state when not one iranian inspired terrorist has done an attack in the west they are mostly salafis jihadis.
but because saudi toe the status quo when it comes to Israel they always get away with their funding of extremism in mosques and madrassas in the west. As Iran is a threat to Israel on a regional level this anti-Iran hysteria is played up over the top in the West. would make much more sense to be closer with iran than saudi.


But Americas alliance with israel isnt as beneficial for them as it is for Israel. Much more favourable for Israel. Saying that Israel has a very powerful lobby within U.S Politics especially with the support of the Christian Right in the States isnt a conspiratorial at all. Israel doesnt control America per se but its lobby is so influential that both right wing and left wing cant touch the holy cow relationship between Israel and America.

when John Kerry criticised Israels illegal settlement building in the West Bank last year he was denounced as an anti semite and he only said it because the obama administration was on its way out so there were no real political consequences. Anything other than unconditional support for Israel by a mainstream politician pretty much kills their career.

Americas Middle East policy since WWII has been totally consumed by its personal attatchment to Israel.
