His attitude is poor and he has had a fall out with mickey and his fitness levels (although he is working very hard right now) have been below par but in spite of all these issues he is still 10x the T20 batsman Shehzad is

This looks a much better lineup that the current one

Zaman should be the aggressor looking to score as many as he can in the first 5 overs with Babar playing the anchor role as he does at number 3 looking to bat through the 20 overs.

Umar at 3 because you need another power hitter at this position and with Malik and Sarfraz as consolidators at 4 and 5 in case the top order falls cheaply

Imad, Fahim and Shadab to provide the finishing touches

Umar has apologized for his behavior and he is working hard on his fitness. he deserves another opportunity. The door should not be closed on him.

Why fix something that isn't broken! Shehzad and Babar had a good partnership in which Babar was the aggressor and shehzad was the strike rotator. Yes, Shehzad has his limitations but he is not the only one. What we need is to give Shehzad the sense of security in the team so that he can perform up to his full potential.
I remember people once hailed him as the second coming of Virat Kohli, earlier in his career. So why not give him a second chance!

No, he's not doing well mentally, is out of shape physically and he can't bat anymore either. There's a lot of hard work to be done on his end if a comeback is to be even considered. Akmal at this stages comes across as the sort of bloke who would struggle to get into his domestic team, never mind international. What a damn waste.

I agree. However, Umar Akmal needs to prove his fitness first and then make up with Mickey Arthur & everyone else involved before he is even considered. There is no doubt that as a batsman he can play devastating innings but with the current situation regarding him he can't come into the team right now. But he is definitely a better T20 batsman than Shehzad

People pretend that Akmal is not on the team due to off-field issues but completely forget the fact that he does not make the team on merit. When was the last time he won a match with his batting?

Yep, best idea, bring the bigger clown for the smaller one (who has at least scored some runs in last two games which could be asking too much for UA)...Ahmed Shehzad can be easily replaced by allowing Sarfraz to open with Fakkhar and bring in a middle order hitter, not sure who though!
