Uri Geller has warned NASA that an alien invasion is around the corner.

The 75-year-old illusionist believes scientists may have stumbled upon ‘superior’ beings from space after discovering a giant energy source 4,000 light years away while mapping radio waves.

The spoon-bender reckons this is a sign that aliens are heading our way.

He wrote on Instagram: ‘My dear friends, A team mapping radio waves in the universe has discovered something unusual that releases a giant burst of energy three times an hour and it’s unlike anything astronomers have seen before.

‘No doubt in my mind that this is connected to alien intelligence way way superior than ours.’

He urged: ‘Start deciphering their messages! They are preparing us for a mass landing soon! #nasa #hoova #spectra #spectra #aliens.’

Scientists said they have never seen anything like the ‘spooky’ new phenomenon before, which they believe could be a neutron star or white dwarf.

A white dwarf is a small, very dense star that is typically the size of a planet.

Neutron stars are thought to form by the gravitational collapse of the remains of a massive star after a supernova explosion.

Meanwhile, a white dwarf is formed when a low-mass star has exhausted all its central nuclear fuel and lost its outer layers as a planetary nebula.

Astrophysicist Dr Natasha Hurley-Walker, from Curtin University in Australia, said of the discovery: ‘This object was appearing and disappearing over a few hours during our observations.

‘That was completely unexpected.’

She recalled the experience as being ‘kind of spooky for an astronomer because there’s nothing known in the sky that does that.’

Emphasising how close it is to us, she added: ‘it’s in our galactic backyard.’

She said they ‘didn’t expect them to be so bright,’ so the discovery came as a shock.

‘Somehow it’s converting magnetic energy to radio waves much more effectively than anything we’ve seen before.’

Magician Uri is a self-proclaimed psychic who is frequently sharing his views on all things space and telepathy.

Most recently, Katie Price said she believes Uri’s spoon-bending trick may have helped cure her son Harvey’s blindness.

After the Israeli general we now this spoonbender telling us an invasion is on its way!

Does he have any legimacy in this conclusions?

Somebody ask this guy if the "unusual discovery" is 4000 light years away then by the time we are viewing it from earth it has already been thousands of years in earth-years since that event happened. :kakmal

The internet has given the opportunity to every tom, dick or harry to act as an expert

Some people believe aliens are already among us. There's this Russian kid who believes he is descended from Martians.

Uri Geller certainly looks a lot younger than 75. I would have thought he is 60 something. Maybe the aliens have something to with his youthfulness?

I am gonna file this under the "Cuckoo Conspiracy Theories" along with flat earthers and anti vaxxer propaganda.

Yes he doesnt look 75, maybe he bent his age back.

Mars has life, anything with with water present will have some sort of life. However Geller is talking of some far away 4000 light year source. Its merely a star.

Im hoping those aliens soon contact him for further information.

c'mon @kk no one cares about uri geller, cancel this thread

Until CNN says so. :)

Far more likely to be a neutron star emitting these energy bursts in the RF band.
