Being son of ex test cricketer and selector , and not being able to command a regular 1st class slot means he must be utterly rubbish. Let's face it, if he was average, he would have been a regular 1st class cricketer with Pappa's and Akmal connections.

I disagree. Whenever you choose a profession, you do your homework. Making the team isn't a joke. He needs to consider the fact that he is trying to play for a country with a 200 million, cricket crazy population.

The only problem here is, people like Usman Qadir are used to have having Biryani and will not accept Daal Chawal for "food on the table" because of their rich daddies.

Who knows if his father provides for him. We cannot speak for anyone else's life and day to day living.

Either way, the statement remains true. If you are married with kids, tell them you want to play for Pakistan over providing for them (and this isn't to be sexist in that only men provide, I am saying a wife is also providing) and we will see how any individual will decide their future.

Your family will always come before national pride, and anyone who says different is trying to put themselves on a pedestal.
