Seriously what the hell were they doing?

Marnus was supposed to be the next Australian superstar but he’s out there being unprofessional and childish like this.

I expect PSL to impose a fine on the captains for this if we are to be serious about preserving the brand of PSL. This is Pakistan. Come to our country only to play serious cricket and not for these childish acts.

Calm down, they were just joking. Warner was also joking.

Don’t be immature. This was not some Instagram reel. It’s the captains press conference before the PSL commences. Serious business. At a time when we are competing with global leagues, especially the behemoth in the neighbourhood we are going head to head against, this is poor PR for us. This cannot be ignored. Anyone who wanna be childish can go seek an appointment with Epstein’a friends.

I don't know if I would call that lashing out, but yes, they were behaving like school kids and Warner was right to point it out. I expect nothing less from Labuschagne and Rizwan though, who seem like really annoying personalities off the field too.

In case your definition of lashing out is not David Warner putting his fellow captains on crippler cross face and jumping a frog splash on them, that’s literally what he did.

Fine is too much...

Calling them school kids is definitely calling them out

I think one factor is that all PSL teams have been training together at the same place and are all staying in the same hotel together

So a lot of them might have got carried away with cross team bonding. There seemed to be no decorum of seriousness here at all. Why was Shaheen acting like the ABBA of the entire PC? Mate you went for 26 against Shanaka in the last over you bowled in T20i

PCB Chairman will always be a Pakistani, Alhadulilah.

What are you’re asking for probably is a Chief Performance Consultant
Although he dances on the reels, still David does have that non veg energy that PCB is actively looking for to streer the Pakistan cricket from the slump

It’s not a joke. You must prove yourself with years of experience in a similar administrative role. This is Pakistan
We’re talking about. One of the top 3 greatest cricket nations ever after West Indies and Australia

Definitely don't doubt that bit about greatest cricket nations
This requirement of years of experience seems to be fairly recent, not upto date on IT

To this day I stick to this claim that a major component, if not the biggest component to Babar’s downfall is the fact that he allowed Rizwan to get too close to him and destroyed his work ethic.

This press conference is a good example of how his behaviour alters with Rizwan around him.

Babar is not a doodh peeta bacha. He is a 30 plus year old adult. He knows the difference between right and wrong

He was always bit shy and did not know when to say no. He was taken advantage of by those who were nearest to him.

I don’t think Warner was at that point.

He was giving a serious answer and those guys carried on sniggering at something
Naa, he was just in a chill mode.

The press conference itself is a joke with the kind of questions that are ask, so no one takes it any serious.

The onus is on the journalists to ask proper questions. Players will treat it a circus with the kind of stuff that is asked.

They did ask proper questions. Shaheen didn’t want to answer them. Nor did Babar about his strike rate

Not necessarily. A Muslim must rule the Khilafah, but a sports organization? Warner will do great. No heehee haha under his watch from the high 5 gang. Will give a beating with the bat if necessary for an x amount of dot balls consumed per innings.

Plus he is white and speaks English, already popular amongst the masses and Indian BCCI officials will respect him for this.

It’s time to give Warner Bro a shot. Can I get the Irani vote of confidence on this matter from you?

I remember the ICC ODI WC 2019 Captains press conference. It was a one hour affair where captains maintained professionalism and also dropped in light hearted humor where needed. Reporters asked everyone if there is one opposition player that they fear or they wish they had in their team.

Kachra Karachi media needs to be kept away from these press conferences. You need educated well spoken press reporters who can ask intelligent questions like an Osman Samiuddin.

Who will answer the intelligent questions ?

Easy to blame media. But looks at level of the players.

Someone with a bit of savvy can put kachra media in their place quickly.

Because teams and players have long term reputational loss if they do badly in an ICC World Cup.

Not too many consequences for slipping up in a T20 league. Nobody will even remember 6 months from now.
