Typical Delhi:

"Do you know who I am?"

"Come meet me outside!"

"How dare you push me?"

Other points:

1. The IndiGo staffer who filmed this has been fired. I find this ridiculously unfair - he wanted to be the whistleblower to showcase the company viewpoint.

2. IndiGo's honeymoon period seems to be over, with more and more of these incidents cropping up of late. Granted, they do have a gigantic operation but their staff - especially at DEL, LKO, IXE and the like haven't been checked for quality control.

The problem seems to be more with the average Delhiite youngster who thinks that he/she is fit to rule the world just because he/she has a job with an airline.
There have been similar incidents involving Jet Airways and Air India staff at Delhi too.

Which is why I avoid that craphole of a city like a plague.

Reminds me of a time when I was at the Islamabad airport and the customs officer was acting weird with me and aggressive. Little did he know that my uncle was his boss. An apology was granted after he learnt this. The common man needs to step forward and stop such mis use of power from such people.

The problem with the average Delhiite youngster is that he's an average Delhiite youngster. They don't need to work for an airline to be the dingbats that they are.

I too grit my teeth when work takes me to Gurgaon. I just fly in and fly out whenever such unfortunate days come around, and am delighted when wheels are up on the flight back south.

Delhi ain't that bad if you get rid of all the Haryanvis , Biharis , rapists , criminals and pollution.

Ahem Ahem .

Little did he know that my uncle was his boss. An apology was granted after he learnt this.

Didn't that just defeat your point ?

Not really! I did not do anything wrong to report him to my uncle who happen to be his boss.

But for a lot of desis, having an Politician or Rich business man as your Dad/Grandpa/Uncle is the license to be everybody's "BOSS" .

Very sad to see this. Especially this person could be any of us or our relatives.

Well, the passenger was lucky he got away cheaply. From what I can see it was he who started to be aggressive and even started slapping the staff. But the workers should have just ignored him in the beginning and let him go.

Fighting talk from AI there, where MPs and MLAs delay and harass the crew at will.

I wouldn't be marketing like that if I were them.

If a customs officer is rude; I am within my rights to complain. I am nobodies boss.
