This is an interesting question.

One is seen as the most evil manifestation on Earth and the other a 'leader of the civilised world'.

In your opinion who is the bigger threat to world peace, ISIS or America?

I would agree with these Harvard students, ISIS is a small group who have limited power to inflict their crimes on the world while the US has unlimited power to inflict their evils on the world. IT wont be ISIS who threaten world peace.

I did check the date but have only come across it last night after watching Frankie Boyle's show New World Order. I never suggested this was new.

There are many threads about ISIS and everyone knows their mentality is one of carnage but this thread is about who is the bigger threat to world peace. I assume you are suggesting its ISIS so please explain why?

I think you are just misreading it. Obviously if you are in America then ISIS would be a bigger ( if somewhat puny) threat. But if you are a country not aligned with the US then there's every chance you'll get bombed to the stone age. That's a pretty big threat you have to agree. You don't have to be on the other side to acknowledge it, I'm assuming that is what the students are admitting.

lol. Why would a group gain the military hardware of a nation? ISIS shouldn't even have existed but for American cowboy intervention in Iraq. Their leaders all came out of an American controlled prison in Iraq. With 800 men they managed to defeat an army of 30,000. It's all too convenient. No Muslims voted for ISIS as their Caliphate unlike those who vote in their millions for the likes of Bush, Obama and Trump. ISIS is hated by 99% of Muslims who don't agree with their actions or ideology while American imperialism which causes damage which is incomparable to ISIS is backed by millions of Americans and countless other countries. America is the one who causes such group into existance by it's state terrorism and control of other nations. The sooner this state is no longer a superpower the better for the planet.
