India media is definitely the biggest garbage in the world I have ever seen.
By that logic, India should be banned right away, and actually since 1971, but funding and training terror organization called Mukhti Bhani, and also due to recent proofs of Kulbushan. India was embarrassed in front of the whole world when they were told that Kulbushan will remain in Pakistan jail.

problem is everywhere there is a gutter mindset and some sensible people ... i have loads of indian friends at work and outside work and we fight over cricket, argue on politics and compete at all levels but they are sensible to know what the gutter mentality some indians have .. same on our side as well... unfortunatly this is a silent majority on both sides.. more silent on indian side

It's simple, these kind of fights and drama on news show sells. IIRC it all started when Arnab Goswami was in Times Now. Times Now rose very quickly because it was the first time they had an anchor who shut up politicians and fights happened in debates. Public enjoyed the masala and loved it, other news channels copied this strategy and now everyone is doing the same. Now the public is addicted to such news, even if they know it's not good the public can't do anything because it's difficult to get over any addiction.

As a result all these news channel still get decent TRP. Since they get decent TRP, they don't bother to change their reporting strategies.

There are limited topics which you can do debates on which will result in such fights. Politics is the biggest one, Pakistan is second biggest one and then smaller points like feminism, bollywood, cricket etc.

Unfortunately in this money grabbing game the news channels don't realize they are actually shaping public mindset about multiple issues. Yes, the news channels are paid however they still should have some sense of responsibility to not corrupt people's mindset.
