JK has been a curve upwards since his comeback to the Pakistan side but since then he has also bowled a lot slower than what used to years ago.

His pace is continuously in the low like 82-83 where as before he could crank it up to 86-88mph, he seems to be not looking to go for high 80's which he could get in the 2012 time.

Junaid is still miles better than Wahab, Rahat, Tanvir etc.

I would say he is the most economical bowler we have after Amir - arguably even more so than Hassan.

Chief Destroyer's favorite player shows once again why he makes Pakistan's first eleven :srt

Side note: BPL seems too easy for our players. I was under the impression that even gully cricket in Dhaka is more competitive than Pakistani domestic

In BPL pacers get a good number of wickets.

The two highest wicket takers of BPL are two local pacers. The uneven bounce in Dhaka helps pacers a lot. Also the slowness of the wicket means batsmen struggle to score runs against spinners and they launch in the end overs and pacers get plenty of wickets.

Not denying Pakistan pacers are good, better than ours. And not too many foreign pacers in our league barring Jordan Plunkett Malinga

I've always enjoyed watching Pakistan bowlers in BPL (barring Sohail Tanvir)

They bring in the aggression factor, as well as the passion. They bowl with fire in their belly. They want to win the game of their team, as much as locals. If you see their celebrations it feels like these are young Bangladesh bowlers who are here to prove a point to the selectors, to the let the fans know who they are.

Hasan Amir Junaid have that X factor in them. Lovely to watch their passion. Not just Pakistan but subcontinental players in general have that extra enthusiasm in them when playing in a foreign league.

JK has never been fully utilized in t20s has always been labelled as an 'ODI bowler'

Umar Gul and Sohail Tanvir quota was always the reason he was kept out from the side until 2014, and then Wahab Riaz was thought better after he thought bouncing everyone out was the solution, eventually people realized what Wahab brought in LOIs, first got taken apart for 110 in 10 overs vs England, and the massacre at the hands of Australia in t20 world cup 2016, and then another massacre at the hands of WI batsman Jason Mohammad... finally VK barrage in CT 2017 made people realize there shuld be other solutions at hand.

JK is a much smarter bowler and was the highest wicket taker for Khulna Titans in BPL 2016...

He is much underappreciated and underrated specially in the t20 format...

Deserves a go, hopefully a gig at Multan Sultans as the premier fast bowler (under Wasim Akram) can remove that tag against him.

Superb. If he can stay fit and in form for the next few years, he'll go down as a great bowler. He has everything a pacer from Asia needs.
