Watched a but of him on YouTube and in the MCC game - he reminds me a bit of Badree as in he usually bowls quick and flat and opens the bowling. Could be a T20 specialist.

He didnt turn much vs MCC, most of the deliveries were straight but in T20s that is what most spinners try to do especially with the new ball and he was used for I guess couple of overs in the power play.

His accuracy and pace variations were decent. Looked to have better control on the day then the other two leggies pf LQ which were playing the match as well.

Misread the pitch. They saw grass which was kept to to provide pace to the wicket and thought it was the sign to go with 4 pacers which clearly was wrong as for MS their spinners were the game changer.

Felt bad for him today. Had to make his debut in REALLY difficult circumstances.

Guess we will be able to fully evaluate Maaz after a full 20 over game.

He's clearly got potential, but he had to bowl in awful conditions.

Had good spin and was actually quick.

After a destructive first over (0-17), he came back VERY well in his next three (2-14).

Maaz Khan has potential. I can see it.

I am impressed at the comeback he showed after a horrible first over. Sohail Akhtar did his best to destroy the lad’s career by bowling him in the power play against Babar/Hales and that too on his debut. I mean that is just not on and defies all common sense and logic.
