Mohammad Faizan debut in his first class match playing for Rawalpindi against Faisalabad and got 1st 5 wickets. Saw highlights and looked quite sharp. Someone to keep an eye on. Would appreciate more details on this boy!

Faizan, is he gonna be the fast bowler of this decade for Pakistan? Is history being made?

Promising, prominent, promenade.

Pace, swing, line, length. He’s got it all in the bag. The fact that we are not sending him off to play the World Cup in India right now is a shame!

Pathetic PCB!

Ya Allah I hope he's at least 6'2", tired of seeing a fast bowlers height start with 5

Pakistan are already loaded with express pacers. Any youngster who has aspirations to represent Pakistan have a brutal road ahead.

Well behind the pecking order at the moment but has some talent. I'd still take Mir Hamza, Hasnain and Dahani over him

Looks good.

Gone are the days when someone raw like him would be thrown into the international arena and allowed to learn the art by playing with world’s best.

A quick glance tells me he is putting a lot of pressure on his body with that bowling action and is injury prone. Lets see.

Really impressive and has a lot of potential.

On his action, I totally agree, his center of gravity, weight and balance is all over the place and that will put tremendous stress on his bones and joints. Compare him with Starc who is another lefty of similar height and body structure and has one of the smoothest actions. He needs to work with a bowling coach before he gets a serious injury.

But that being said, I hope he is able to land a PSL contract so that he can work with some of the best coaches

Thanks for the analysis

Agree he needs to be taken to coaches. I would personally stop him from playing any further competitive cricket till he fixes that action. We dont want him to break down

Rawalpindi's Mohammad Faizan helped his side secure victory against Karachi Whites in the third round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2024, claiming impressive match figures of 8/61 (5/39 and 3/22).

Pindi has the most promising pace attack atleast one of Faizan or Awais could be taken to South Africa as a gamble pick both have a lot of promise even Munir is a decent third seamer
